Question: Before PoA, do we need merged mining?
Merged mining is a good idea
We do not need merged mining
We need only PoA
We need both merged mining and PoA

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Working very hard on XDN new features, please, give us a time for the implementation and all tests. XDN run like clockwork.

Couldn't agree more with the above quote. XDN presents itself very professionally and runs like a clock.

Loving the current prices.

Bitcoin has an extreme price volatility now, actually price rising,
I can see an "average" 0.000103$ price now on coinmarketcap.

I believe people are holding XDN.

We keep our dev work. Wait for the new features we are working on.

BTC doubled its price ; few people sold their XDN ; most are holding ; a handful of BTC goes a long way up on our main exchanges .
XDN at 20 sats at $460 per BTC is roughly the same as 40 sats at $250 . XDN has been improved and is going to consolidate itself ,
it will multiply its value , that is why real investors care & keep holding ; it's not worth selling , buying more is smart & wise …
If someone wants a good amount of XDN , 10BTC push the price to 100 sats ; we know it can explode anytime upwards ; it will be great

Very soon we will add remote authentication to wallets, so users will be able to use it with mobile devices and HTML wallet (check old wallet.html made for duckNote).

So users will interact with their remote wallets from any device.

We expect add remote authentication feature in the next 10 days.

Yes, and i apologize here

P.S. We are a bit late witth RPC auth because of rethinking XDN daemon for industrial type of wallets and services.

We are late with XDN RPC auth because of full RPC rethinking.
Please, wait for new industrial type wallet for services and exchanges.

By the way GUI wallet is still in beta, but absolutely working solution to interact with XDN blockchain and network. You can make instant messages and funds transactions, deposits and mining with GUI.

But we need more blockchain interaction layers (like new RPC wallet we are working on) for easy mass adoption. We should make XDN very familiar for web developers, that is why we are working on new version of "console" wallet.

Please, be patient about XDN, you have (as a user) a working blockchain with many unique features, so use it, tell your friends about it, we will do the rest with our development of new features and applications and long term XDN thinking.

Thank you.

Still the same beta wallet we are talking about ; it works without issues so far . I have noticed that blockchain updating related tasks a much speedier now than when the wallet was initially released , by a magnitude , my guess is some things were improved internally , without need for a new wallet release so far . Anyway , we all are already looking forward to the next update , with patience . The basics work , we , as a community could do ourselves a favour and ponder to add some real markets , for a start … let's see some ideas …

True. That is why we are working on new console wallet. All services will be based on it, because it will be scalable and made with high performance in mind.

Shapeshift and similar services will work great with current XDN simplewallet, but on mass usage it may have some performance issues.

So with new XDN wallet we will provide new API for services.

Hi,

As mentioned by smooth earlier, I got trouble with the computer running the pool.
I got it all back up, and I noticed something odd with the last hashrate rally tally: it seems only a third of the blocks got counted, so that the total miner bonus totalled ~3900 XDN, rather than the 15k it should have been (20% of the 75k received from dNote). I couldn't see where the problem was, so I've paid everyone 4 times the bonus that was recorded, which should be close enough to the real thing and even a bit above.
With all that, I decided that it's just too much hassle to maintain it all. So I'm stopping the pool. I've flushed all remaining balances to the respective miner addresses, so you will have received any dust that was in your pool balance. So if you did not mine for more than a year and are surprised to see some small amount trickle in, that's why Tongue
As a bit of trivia, there were 420 duckNote/darkNote/digitalNote addresses with remaining balance in the pool, most of them with just dust.

kkraus69, if you're reading that, and you still want to run a pool, feel free to ask here or on IRC again if you need Smiley
