bought 40 sat and now 25 sat... very sick
Sorry to hear that - its mostly likely the rise in BTC price that caused the drop. If/when BTC drops again, I'm sure the price will be back up - just depends if you want to risk holding out.

We want to verify that everything is working well. We need a bit more time to verify FCN network HF was done properly and we will see first FCN+XMR blocks. After that, we will release XDN HF source code. This should happen this week. Sorry for the delay, but this is very important to have everything done properly. Thank you.
Nice Can't Wait

yes that was my question too. monero devs didnt said anything about the merged mining!!!!
Yes, we should tell them, and we should tell to Monero community! But this info is urgently important to the current pools, not other coins itself. There is no change in Monero, there are major changes in FCN and XDN. Then can you clarify this because it looks a bit of an oxymoron. Just a few posts ago Papa_Lazzarou wrote: "How will you convince all those monero miners to switch to merge mining monero+xnd? With the 0.03BTC worth of daily emission?" DNote replied:"Because it is free for them. They will have a deal: to help XDN with no cost for them and to receive few satoshi every 4 min OR not to do that and not receive few satoshi every 4 min" From the conversation above it looked like it was important the participation of monero miners in the merged mining, to increase the hashrate of both XDN and FCN. But now it doesn't matter if miners miners don't know about the merged mining? I'm mining XMR right now - and would certainly/happily switch to merged mining with XDN and FCN if given the option to... Looks like https://minergate.com now have FCN+XMR mining support.

how long till merge mining?
Hello, We are observing FCN 2.0. It is a very important hardfork and everything should be great, but we must be prepared. Merged mining in XDN will be implemented as soon as we will verify all possible issues by observing a real FCN blockchain and making local XDN tests. Our attention is with FCN this week, while we are testing XDN. I think we will release source code of XDN MM update on Monday, and HF will be next week too. Pools will need to update their daemons and possibly update their pool software. Exchanges will only need to update to the latest XDN version. FCN hashrate before HF: 200 kh/s FCN hashrate now: 700 kh/s - x3 times. Stay tuned.

They hold this coin not on conviction, so it is better they go. It seems they missed the opportunity to sell on the last hype (or even bought more). Indeed not worth to talk about it.

In my opinion the merge mining announcement of FCN by the XDN devs may be by the same people who once pushed for XMR merge mined with BCN (and thankfully failed). FCN was merged mined with BCN but largely abandoned. FCN and XDN (almost all mined just like BCN) mining rewards will be tiny but that is not the point. The point is that (besides an attempt to pump FCN and later XDN) this may be an attempt to increase Minergate hash rate (since only that pool offers this FCN merge mining). Dont use Minergate or fall for this obvious ploy to increase their hashrate: Don't fall for it. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.msg16765740#msg16765740It seems minergate = bytecoin = hitbtc = freewallet = changelly = cointelegraph = chainradar etc https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/5b6a5t/dont_user_minergate/Is it true?

True about what? We are making mm to protect XDN network, mm was not a very simple thing to implement (we were working on mm for the whole summer). That is why we took FCN! Also because FCN has a slow emission and some people don't like XDN fast emission (the idea of real Free Market Economy). So for us the ONLY reason to start XDN mm and take FCN was to empower blockchain and make it more secure. Minergate is the first mining pool implemented mm for FCN long time ago, i think it is obvious that they are implementing it now when FCN updated. We can't comment minergate = bytecoin = hitbtc = freewallet = changelly = cointelegraph = chainradar etc connection, because we simply don't know. We have contacted minergate about upcoming hf few times. I can tell you XDN-project has no connection with minergate = bytecoin = hitbtc = freewallet = changelly = cointelegraph = chainradar etc and never had. We are only using bytecoin/cryptonote source code (and you know, we made lots of new stuff). And another thing - we need much more XDN and FCN mining pools based on open source software.

Was mostly interested in the bolded part, but your response re: more pools made me think of a more specific question - why is it that only minergate is going to support merge mining? There is no open source software for merge-mining is there? How can you ask for more mining pools based on open source software if none exists? Are you planning to release open source merge mining pool software?

Also there is a software called SoloMiner for CryptoNote mm https://github.com/amphibia/SoloMiner but it should be updated to FCN 2.0. So now you can do a common FCN mining on both pool or solo. After all HF and updates, we are planning to update cryptonote-universal-pool to mm support Also we may touch SoloMiner and update it too.
