evening everyone, apologies for the radio silence today we've been figuring out a course of action for cerium. we are now into 5% POS after DPOS blocks finished today so thanks to all who have supported the coin in mining or staking or spreading the word about the coin or trading.


As i mentioned before we werent sure if we could continue CMF if we wanted to be listed on bittrex. It's been decided by the developer team and consultation of the cerium slack group that xce will go down the road of creating a CMF asset which will be bought for btc. investors will recieve a share of the return depending on thier asset amount.

Bittrex addition is still uncertain under this route but we felt that the cmf was a core idea to the coin and essential to how the coin moves and expands into real world use which is the end goal. Bittrex addition would be nice and help develop the XCE market but its not essential and we are continuing with or without thier addition.

we havent fully decided on how to pursue the assets setup yet as there are a few possibilities in how we can do it and pros and cons to each. I will be posting an update tomorrow afternoon with a decision and full details on what the CMF asset will entail.

Good morning everyone, apologies for no update in last 24 hours been travelling to Amsterdam for a crypto meetup and I thought I would have had more of a chance to be online (and have wifi)

The cerium team believe the concept of the cerium miners fund is a core idea to the coin and also what attracted people to it in the first place.

Here is how the assets will work.
You will send bitcoin in return for assets
1cmf asset will be worth about 10x the price of cerium (0.0001btc)
In owning an asset you will be eligible for a payout in the profits from the funds
Btc raised in cmf asset selling will be used for trading commoditiess/cerium metal/anything investors see fit to invest in)
Profits from cmf will be divided as mentioned before.

We have a few options in which to implement the assets each with pros and cons.


1.create asset using coin prism. Simple to set up, easy to monitor and pay dividends. Although long term we won't have as much possibility for expansion eg. Xce>cmf exchange

2.create our own website and asset, will take longer to do but will ultimately give us more control and room for expansion with exchange for assets and such.

3. Use coinprism to start then when site is good to go transfer data like holdings over there. This is my personal choice, our own platformis important but could take a few weeks and I'm aware we would lose a lot of momentum

When I check into my hotel in a few hours I will create a vote.its been a pain typing this on mobile. The coin is the communities so we willalways take into account what you have to say. In the mean time waiting for the vote I would like to hear your thoughts. Good to hear an update.  I use cerium oxide from time to time.  Can be hard to find.

What about the current holders of XCE?

I'd suggest putting on some thick skin and visiting the c-cex and yobit trollboxes with the same statements / questions.  Create some activity.
