I'm treating this like every other coin that went 10x+ in a short time, keeping a barge pole between it and me. All the others had reasons it was going to become the #1 alt, and I suppose it's possible Startcoin could do it, but when in doubt I always go with the odds.

yes I can clearly see trough my visionary glasses opportunity for Karl Gray & Co.

let me explain my feelings more clearly in one sentence: Never go for 50% premined coin at least at the beginning stage[unless you are dealer], better wait till it drops 100-1000 times and them maybe throw few satoshis in it.

I understand about the premining being suspicious, but i've been looking at this very closely and it seems they are using the premined coins to give back to the people that support crowdfunding projects (which is a noble thing). The coins they give away can then be used to be put back into the crowdfunding platform to support more projects.

You can't compare this with any other altcoin out there because the business model around it is self-sustaining because crowdfunding is HUGE. I didn't really understand until i did a lot of research and heard Max Keiser say the premining and future mining is "quantatative easing for the people." I can't see how anybody can be against that really.

I keep checking this topic to see if anything tangible is going to come up with the currency..
so far it seems hollow / shallow.
I hear a proclamation about Market Data and babble about celebs of sorts being involved.
which I think amounts to a store employee telling me to buy XYZ product.
