Bitcoinker like to ban addresses if you claim a lot(just my supposition) and you will not get any error if you try to claim again with a banned address but you wont see the amount of satoshis that you won. So if you don't pay attention and you continue to claim with a banned address it's just a waste of time.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Wow Faucetworld is getting abused.

Who owns it?

Edit: It's actually referral earnings that you see there. They appear to be non-referral earnings but they actually come from a referral tree.

to dispel doubts - it's not me.

Statistics which I published previously comes from one of the faucets from my signature.

That's are statistics from one of my faucets:

As you can see I didn't fill up faucet from 3rd of August (because of bots). Then 24th of August i fill up faucet account. In third day (27 of Aug) there was claims for 0.02445340 and in this moment i switch ReCaptcha to FunCaptcha. It goes down to around 0.001 per day. Second screen show you what happen in this hour.. Don't need to comment..

Hi all-- I am the creator of FunCaptcha. I really appreciate the discussion of how well it is working... especially that quote above that shows how bots responded when you switched. We try to add to our "case studies" of great user stories like this. FaucetWorld, please contact us or reply here to let me know if it's OK to use your quote and your chart to show people how well FunCaptcha works.

Also, if you have any problems, I will try to answer them here. But your best first stop is our support page (click the ? mark in the footer of FC). There are good FAQs there and a way to submit a support request.

If you like videos, search for us on YouTube. I'd link them here but don't want an algorithm to falsely accuse me of being a spammer. Wink

Hopefully subscribing to posts here will work, and I will try to answer back soon if anything comes up. Meanwhile, enjoy FunCaptcha. Keep in mind we offer a few different security levels that trade off bot-proof vs usability, so if you do suspect bots getting through, contact us so we can work together on your settings.

What is the problem whit FUNCAPTCHA mi sites are OFF LINE because have problems whit FUNCAPTCHA?

"funcaptcha.com 403 Forbidden Error Page

If you arrived here due to a search or clicking on a link click your Browser's back button to return to the previous page. Thank you.

That's right, but when you get banned, bitcoinker just shows you the yellow page without writing that you won x satoshi.
Just users have to open their eyes and check their rewards in faucetbox everytime claiming in a new faucet or at least sometimes if it's an old one.

Hack?

Even their demo doesn't work: https://www.funcaptcha.com/demo/ .

No reason to think that's a hack, it's more likely that a deployment of a new version went wrong or something like that.

EDIT: looks like it's starting to work again, although it's slow as hell.

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.

Hi all,

We apologize for the interruption in FunCaptcha service. Last night our server provider, Amazon Web Services, had a major outage. More information can be seen at http://status.aws.amazon.com/ and http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/09/20/aws_database_outage/. AWS provides services to the biggest sites in the world, including Amazon.com. It’s very rare for them to have this kind of outage, and they are the best in the world. Unfortunately last night was an exception. Our 24×7 admin team, working at all hours, immediately adapted to the outage but it created service interruptions. We restored full services as quickly as possible and now all is well.

We are sorry for the loss to both faucet webmasters and their customers. We are going to make changes and work with Amazon to better “bulletproof” FunCaptcha services.

More information about our service can be found at https://twitter.com/FunCaptchaStat/ as it happens.

We know you depend on FunCaptcha to be available 24×7 and we are not satisfied with anything less than perfect service. We will continue to work to make things better. Please let us know how we are doing.

Kind regards,
Matt

Also, to anyone who thinks they can stop these botters.. it is not possible.
Anything a human can do, a computer can do.

A script can be written to recognize images or patterns in any fashion and solve captchas.

...

Only thing I can say is, bots aren't going away unfortunately. :/
We'll all just have to adapt as best we can to prevent being scammed.

Don't give up hope NightHavoc! We are the only company in the world totally dedicated to stopping bots with a CAPTCHA that really works and does not totally annoy its users. Look for "FunCaptcha" in this thread and all over the web for testimonials about how we are really stopping the problem.

We know it's an endless war and we are always staying ahead of the bots.. let us know how we are doing. We can adjust FC to various security levels to trade off ease of use vs. security.

Thanks for the captchme-lib.php info Smiley

What happens when you click "Save changes"? The page reloads, but changes aren't saved? Or the page doesn't even reload (can you check your Javascript console in browser?)? Or maybe you see some error?

That's quite old, you should consider updating it (the current version is ~40).

The new version encodes the settings before sending them to bypass XSS protections many hostings enforce. Looks like for some reason it doesn't work for you. I'll test it later and I hope fix will be available in r59.

Anyone else having problems with r58?

Couple days I hope, and it'll probably be mostly bugfix release (maybe we'll add one http://visualcaptcha.net/, but we're not sure yet).
