i think that is a really good idea, it could provide a nice boost to this coin. Besides the hi-pos market is flooded atm and this would help distance it from that amazing SproutsExtreme

It really does need to happen. I am also going to start a coin burn fund so people can contribute to burning a few coins, but honestly i dont think its that important once the stake rate is down. Look at DOGE, Creva, etc... Billions of coins, sustained price rates. I would also like to see a good informational site about Sprouts put up with charts and more information about the path of sprouts. I have privately spoken with "MrEggman" over the last few days and I am working on an agreement to take control of the original thread account and github. Thank you, 5mil.

I personally like the current logo, maybe it could be rendered differently to have more of a 3D look to it, but it's a good logo. 0.25 btc could be better spent elsewhere IMO. I have no problem making contributions, and I'd love to support LadyWhaleCoin, but this doesn't seem to me to be a necessity. If the logo IS going to be changed no matter what, we should have a vote on it before we go through with it. The logo is a fairly important part of the marketing, and the current logo has done quite well. That's all I'm saying.

The Sprouts wallet isn't down at Bittrex. Various wallets there will go into maintenance mode from time to time, but it's always just temporary.

As far as Sprouts price, I can see it easily going over 100 sat again. It would take less than 1 btc for that to happen, and that's nothing. I can see Sprouts going back to 200 sat, maybe even 400 on a peak. Why not?

Sprouts still has far less coins than many coins with prices far higher. DGB had 5.65 Billion or so coins when it went over 200 sat, and now that it's almost up to 6 BILLION coins (More than 10 TIMES the amount of Sprouts) it recently went to around 100 sat.  So again, why not?!  Sprouts coin supply is fine, but we need to reduce its rate of production soon here. Once that happens it will start moving up in price and it would be smart to buy NOW, before this happens.

It will be easy money for those who get in now.

Even if the price only goes to 50 sat in the near future, that's more than an 800% profit with current price


Sprouts has a big following and was once incredibly popular and that popularity can come back very easily. Partly why the price is this low is due to the Cryptsy issues and people panicking.

Also, I agree with reducing the staking percentage, but 0.1% per day?! That's a little too low. I personally feel it should be no less than 100% APR. That's approximately 0.27% daily.

Looks like the news is already causing price movement. If I had any BTC right now I'd drop at least 1 BTC on it at this price. I just bought 1.5 btc at coinbase, so if the price is still low when I get it in 4 days, it's on!!

I think most of the people that are in favor of the decrease are bagholders because decreasing the rewards is not going to solve a thing. Making such a dramatic decrease is only going to hurt the coin. High rewards is one of the most attractive features of this coin. You need active development, marketing and innovation. There are many coins out there that have far more coins and have a significantly high market cap. Doge is probably the biggest. Doge has 200x more coins in circulation and is 5th in market cap. Just look at the annoucement of a new dev, the price nearly doubled. Now imagine if something actually got developed such as the wallet being updated....

I have to ask the same thing, when and where was the APR ever voted on? 500% is too high. I agree that Sprouts should remain a high yield coin, however, 500% is too high. Sprouts has around 500 million coins, and if we can keep it to around 1 billion a year from now, that will be fine. At 100% it will be around 2 billion two years from now, at which point the APR could be lowered again. Maybe it should be coded into the coin to automatically lower yield once it hits a certain coin supply? Just my 2 satoshi...

Also, I agree that there should be a vote, but it needs to be a fair vote with a link posted here and plenty of notice ahead of time. This coin has a strong community with strong supporters, let's keep it that way and not piss anyone off.
