Any amount can stake after 5 day, smaller amounts if take longer will earn 2% more per day. Advantage larger block can be compounding.

It's pretty obvious I'm new to this coin - so keep that in mind when I ask: what's considered a 'small' amount & 'large' amount of SPRTS, in regards to staking?  I don't want to invest what little I have into POS, if all my funds still won't prove profitable when stake rewards come my way

Old checkpoint WAS going away after you download the blockchain again.  i have been without internet for a few days and now after "borrowing" my neighbors wifi my wallet is getting the same error again.  i figured it was because i had been offline for a few days so i dl the full blockchain again and the message is still there.  Any others having this problem???"
