Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money?

i have been researching for that answer for a while now .. and i believe its all about the bitcoin price in the market .. sometimes it goes up and sometimes down .. u just have to be in the right moment to make that profit

See holding bitcoin for longer time will give you returns or not no body don't know but according to the present people are guessing  it will give some profits, if you hold for long time. But many people are not waiting according to their time they are managing to sell them with little profits. If it is in stable no one will be ready to buy bitcoin.

For me not necessarily you have to hold it for a long time you just need to monitor the price and when it goes up immediately sell it so you can earn. the price is unstable so there is no assurance that it will always increase.

That's right only holding them for a long term can be risky as we don't know what price it will hold in future so if price falls down in future then our holding would go in vain and again we need to wait for a long time to see higher price to sell them and grab the profits so its better to sell them when price goes higher and buy them back when price falls.

The price will always experience it's downs where you can use that situation in your advantage and buy the dips. I have seen so many people say that the price will never go below a certain price level, and guess what, it went exactly below that level, and even far lower. Never is something that doesn't exist when it comes to Bitcoin. I thought that was already clear for most people.... Oh and btw, may I know your analysis on how you think we'll reach $1500 in the coming months?

well yes mate its nuch prefer to have at least good numbers of bitcoin to hold for long period of time, because chances to make it double in value from year after year will definitely give us good earnings, better to keep buying little by little and treat it as a investment for a long journey.

You are right this is bitcoin's year as you could tell by the price it had this. I still think it is worth purchasing bitcoin at this price because my predictions for this year is bitcoin can easilu reach 1500$++ by the end of this year or maybe $2000+ if china government doesn't interfere as they have been doing.
And also the original post you did tell that that you bought at 200$ and you can see the price now so I think you can see the potential of it and selling it just because you in profit is not recommended unless you need it for an emergency.

I thought the issues with China would have caused a bearish run for the long haul, I was quite surprised to see that it picked back up again.

It just goes to show that Bitcoin is much bigger than China or anyone country.

The issue I see right now is the scaling, there's so much BTC caught up in the system and it's taking ever longer for BTC to pass through the network.

A number of times now I've been waiting close to 24 hours and that's with increasing my payout fee.

If they don't fix this soon, that could be the death of BTC. Another crypto could easily come along and take it's place if the community don't agree on implementing something to solve the scaling issue.

I personally believe in BTC with my heart and soul and hold about 2.1 BTC atm in the hope it will double by the end of the year, however the scaling issue is the biggest threat to the value of BTC right now.

I don't know about the holding but using bitcoin is very profitable for those who always use bitcoin, use it in trading, in investment and in their project. basically I mean use bitcoin to increase bitcoin. you can hold one bitcoin and hold for years to price increase and you can make 10 btc with that 1 bitcoin in one year. no choice is yours.

You have to manage it well to grow your bitcoins, it is actually easy to grow the value that growing the volume of bitcoins you have. Trading is a good venture but without decent knowledge you would not be able to succeed, just be careful in trading and be clever all the time. There is a need of proper analyses as not everything you read and hear are real, it could be a wrong information feed to you to make a bad decision.
