Yeah if you want to make good profits in bitcoins then you should have patience to hold if for a long term as you cannot make huge profits from it in short term but make sure that you sell your bitcoins when you are making good profits from it instead of getting too greedy.

Yes exactly there is no doubt that holding bitcoin for long-term is a good option for enjoying larger profits but sometimes we don't think that it will be giving profit to us very soon, like bitcoin was $1800 near two months ago and now it is $3400 and above. The  profit in two months of holding is around  $1500 which is quite impressive. People who bought bitcoin when it's price was low were lucky and also were visionary who had the sense for the bitcoin price in future.
My planning is to collect as many as I can for a minimum of two years. I hope I will be getting a good reward for my investment in bitcoin.

However, from here on out, I think you have to invest a lot of money into bitcoin if you want to make a decent amount off of just hanging onto the coins. BTC is currently 3000+, where it has been fluctuating for a couple of weeks. Again, there is also a point where you have to know where to sell. There could be a day where bitcoin just falls apart completely, although I highly doubt that will happen now given the consistent support for the crypto currency across the globe.

Yeah to make profits only from holding you need to have higher amount of coins in your wallet then only you will be able to feel the profits in future and if you have limited amount of bitcoins then its better to invest in trading where you always have an chance to grow your coins.

Yeah, OP is much richer now since there's a huge pjmp happens in btc. It is already proven that when we hold our btc it can increase in long term. It can also be possible into other alts like Waves now which increases also maybe slow but will surely increase huge too as time passed by.

It is only possible if the OP was still holding his bitcoins until now. If you have some good skills in trading it is much better to make more money than waiting for a months and years to have a good profit in bitcoins .By holding you can gain sure income to it.
