Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money?

Holding bitcoin is really effective to earn big profits. Many people do that because they wall know that.

There is no doubt in this, that holding is the best way of earning bitcoin. But I must tell that there are also other ways which are as effective as holding is. Like signature campaign, trading in bitcoin (risky but best way, you can use different bitcoin faucets, gambling and many more. What I prefer is trading. As it keeps the flow to stay same and also you can learn a lot from this.

OP is interested in knowing that if he can make profits by holding bitcoin for a long term and not the altcoins and its never a smart move to hold any altcoins for a long term as it can fall down very badly at any point of time so if you are holding any altcoin then the best thing is to sell it at a right time when you are making good profits from it.

BTC has always a risk of going up or down, You don't know like 8Hrs after BTC will triple it's price.
So it's a risk if you want to buy or no.

If you do not have a lot of money for buy hardware mining and create mining farm, I think working hard with Bitcoin job or other jobs in outside still helps you easy forget the amount coin you bought in past time.

I bought my bitcoins when the price was $700 last year and since then I am holding my coins and I sold few days back when it crossed $4200 and I think that was the right time to sell my bitcoins as I have already made huge profits on my investment and now again I will wait for the price drop so that I can buy some more with the profits I have made.

There is mathematical things a bit long to explain here that will make Bitcoin worth more in the future, so yes, better thing is to simply hold the longest you can, because value will rise over the time.

Holding bitcoin for long as a way of making money might not be true everytime because the market might move against you sometimes making you lose more than what you invested originally(probably because you had increased the value of the coin before it reduced drastically)
