^ That's exactly my thoughts. I'm gonna keep buying up to around 1k

it depends on the demand, but i will probably only buy up to $600-$700. that's why i am collecting as much coins as possible. once i have reached 10btc i will hold it as it is more than enough for me.

Pretty amazing article and it's worth to read the comments beneath it.
This is going to end pretty bloody. I'll keep increasing my BTC stash.

Next year is a year to see over $1200 I think. 2-3 months is not enough time to see that (if it is not a bubble)
So I expect extended rises over a year.

anyone can speculate and predict the price, but I think no one knows how bitcoin prices from year to year. like previous years we ever reached $1000, but the next year we can not exceed the achievement of $1000 again, even in two consecutive years.

Baloney. All you need to do is look at what's going on with banks, and government fiat debt, and derivatives. It's VERY easy to see Bitcoin is poised to take off like a rocket. It's comical they are talking about raising interest rates just as the bottom is about to fall out of the economy again. Shipping is down 35%, and this is just before the holidays! BTC will be back into 4 figures before 2017... Easy!

There is unlimited number of fiat can be issued to cause inflation. The number of bitcoin is limted. So bitcoin is widely accepted as a currency, the price appreciation is unlimited. It all depends on the continuous development of bitcion. The latest catalyst for price rise is the agreement of block size increase.

I believe acceptance has far more to do with it than development at this point. Although the block size issue is important and needs to be resolved. The world economy is hanging by a thread, and this will by far be the biggest driver of crypto acceptance. The alt-coins that have the most complete package when the shit hits the fan will also do very well.

Nah, it is time to see what the marketing is doing in stead of speculation.

And even if we speculate it must within boundaries. From 220 to 1200 is almost a  600% increase!!!

Not all reasonble.

For Bitcoin, marketing has little effect. It's all about what's happening with core uses, and acceptance. I made over 30,000% on Megacoin the 1st year, so 600% seems trivial to me. Although 600% is more substantial to a coin with BTC's value, I believe future economics will soon prove this is chump change.

Real developments offer far more insight than childish speculation...

IMF has started watching digital currencies, bitcoin in particular. Looks like there's talk of how they might change their internal rules to acquire btc, that would send a clear message internationally and be a big bullish signal for btc's future.
See article - http://bravenewcoin.com/news/imf-unable-to-supply-the-currency-needed-to-counter-speculative-attack-using-bitcoin/

Once it makes sense from a pure cost saving economic standpoint to use bitcoin, adoption will take care of itself.
A lot of progress is being made and I think we're certainly getting there : )

Why lock the thread? It will be interesting to see how long it takes to hit $1,200...
