I think holding place seems still strong. Price stays strong for long time.
I also guess $700 to $1000s in near future.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

The support at the current price is great but we should hope that it remains the same or gets better after the halving.

You are very positive. I think you should have more faith in tech companies like google or twitter then depending your money to double with bitcoin.
The price is very unstable now.

The closer we come to the block halving, the higher the price will be. Once we are like a month away from the halving, then people look back at this price of $445 as being very low. The price will definitely rise to much higher levels. Just have some patience and collect yourself as many coins as possible. After the block halving it will be much harder to do so.

Which will be precedential event, because after every previous halving price of cryptocurrency (either bitcoin or litecoin) went down.
Sure we can argue than at that time of previous halving we didn't have such presence, bitcoin was not known, there weren't many investors, adoption or projects etc.
This is the reason we should be rather cautious about having positive attitude towards price rise after halving.

The price didn't go down after the last bitcoin halving it went up to new all time highs, then it went down, then up to even bigger all time highs then it went down.

I'm not sure about that but am glad you are Smiley We can barely break $500 so flying past that is not something I can see myself. As for looking back at $445 being very low is very unlikely, what do you expect the price to be for "$445 to be very low".

The price will not definitely rise to much higher levels unless much higher levels of people suddenly want to start buying much more. Nope after the block halving I predict it will be just as easy to get Bitcoin.

No 1200-1300 is not coming next month or the month after or any month in the near future.

So did everyone lose all the money they meant to?

Well we didn't get to 1200 by OP's timeframe and we're stuck at 450 for now.  Got any more crystal ball predictions you can throw at us?

This thread was opened six months ago, and the bitcoin price has been very far of $1000 for more than two years. I don't know why this year will be the especial one where the btc will touch the sky.

I wish there was a way that people would just stay level headed with this. I used to be all up in the clouds about this, but learned to

come down to earth and think more logically. If it tanks, it should go back up later, even much later. Just keep holding what you have

and participate in "free-ish" ways of getting btc like sig campaigns. Though not free as in free lunch, it does work. I also have a miner

where I mine altcoins and sell them for btc at exchanges.

Strange how technology always seems to come along just as it is critically needed. Bitcoin is one of those items, and it will change money like nothing that has happened since fiat took the place of gold and silver.

Asian markets tanked again today, and it won't be long before the EU crisis is in meltdown mode again, followed by the U.S. crisis.
Bitcoin will be the major beneficiary, followed by some of the better alt-coins. Any fool that is paying attention can see this one coming a mile away. Does anyone think loaning Greece another $80 billion is going to solve their problems? How about the USA and Europe borrowing more than a trillion $ a year? You would have to be completely blind not to see where Bitcoin is going...

This one will be much worse than 2008, because the world took on another $57 trillion in debt since then. All the borrowed/printed money was pissed away, and we have nothing to show for it. Time to build cash, buy crypto, gold, silver, food, guns, and ammo.
