no of course its not going to that price at least now, i think we will have to wait a little bit for seeing such numbers

Get your Bitcoin now, because the price will be up sharply soon.

Sadly yesterday we see the price fall down to below 400 $, I wish it would bounce back to be stable above $400 levels very soon.

Well the price can fall even more i see it go to 300 easily.
It seems the whales are out of money/patience and the sellers are winning.

whales don't run out of money as they know very well what they do. people are simply not good in waiting and having patience to see the price go up steadily. they focus on quick profits only. that's why some people get bored and sell. people who have enough patience will be rewarded with a higher price. others who have sold because they were bored will buy back at higher price.

I do not think so. $1200 could be reached with 6-12 months. That will be after halving and block size increase to 2MB or higher.

Exactly!

I buy a little BTC every payday regardless of price. Although I did sell some back in late 2013. Other than that I just keep buying, because at some point those who own lots of fiat will wish that had done the same thing. I don't care about the short term price, only where it will be in 6 months, a year, or 5 years. All anyone needs to do is look at the price history of Bitcoin, and what's happening with the banks and fiat. I don't deny anyone the opportunity to "day trade" and make a few bucks, but most of these people will lose big when the real rally arrives.

That is crazy talk lol Do you know what a whale is? A high roller with millions and thousands of Bitcoin to say they have run out of money is funny  Cheesy That is my first laugh of the day on this forum thanks. If they lose patience we would know about it, bitcoin would be dumped into oblivion. I am with you that the price can go to $300 though with all the carry on we're having.

The post above yours> Just because the price has fallen to under $400 that is not teh end of the world as we know it and there are much better things to wish for than a measly $25.

The price won't be going to anywhere near $1200 this year  Tongue

800 sounds very logic on the halving, but all can happens, always there are peoples doing panic buys.

Whales are whales because they're smart enough to keep their money and deal with it responsibly and well.

I highly doubt that the bitcoin price is going to hit over 1k in price within a month - right now, there aren't enough natural means to be able to pump it to that price. I really don't think that'll happen.

I hope this will indeed happen. Because I have actually gotten just one Bitcoin and I'm super happy.

And if I still can therefore get a lot of money then I am totally happy.

I would hang on to that one Bitcoin no matter what. Many people will be selling at $800, $1,000, or higher.
Wouldn't surprise me if one Bitcoin is enough to pay off the average house 5 years from now.

The fiat implosion has started.

Can't you provide anything useful? Almost every decent coin is down by a similar amount. So what is your point?

Yeah if bitcoin crosses that price then it would be win win situation for all of us, as we have really waited long to make some profits out of our investments, so lets hope that the value of bitcoin  reaches to a new level and can earn us good amount of money.

If you look at gold and silver, they are in limbo just like Bitcoin. http://www.kitco.com/market/
People are still trying to decide if this drop in the market, and all the bad financial news is a real crisis like 2008, or if it's just a typical correction. I think the evidence is overwhelming that its the real deal. Russia just announced they are going to start selling assets in order to survive the oil meltdown. Look at just about any country, and they are being overwhelmed by massive amounts of bad debt. Its like that game Jenga, pull one or two more key pieces of the puzzle out, and the entire thing implodes.
Like every other major event in history, people don't wake up until its too late. I believe we will soon look back at Tim Draper's predictions as historic fact.

Very much depth analysis. In the need of suitable payment solution for modern digital evolution, bitcoin will be adopted to every citizen of this planet. So, everything will be done in favor of bitcoin like hitting main stream and getting higher value appreciations just due to the reason of potential of bitcoin.

Japan just announced they are going to negative interest rates. Many elderly people around the world saved their entire lives, and expected they could earn 6% to 10% on their life savings. Today those savings are losing out to inflation. While some things may actually be deflating, most necessary expenses like food, electricity, and water keep going up. There will come a time when interest bearing crypto becomes a very attractive alternative.

Japan just announced they are going to negative interest rates. Many elderly people around the world saved their entire lives ...

"Japan’s new negative interest rate, minus 0.1 percent, will take effect on Feb. 16. It will be assessed only on balances that commercial banks deposit at the central bank in excess of regulatory minimums."

TL;DR: .1%, i.e. 10 years to turn 100 moon moneys into 99 moon moneys.
And only between banks Cheesy
No Japanese elderly exodus out of banks & into buying your bags, sry.
