It isn't going to be long the Bitcoin will reach those prices. I don't think it's going to be a month, but one day most definitely. There was a lot of hype in 2013, but I'm sure it's going to that value soon enough.
I disagree about that, it will be a long journey to even reach this amount this year, it will on some day but it will take a lot of time for sure. I can reach it but than it will be maybe for a moment and the bitcoin would drop to a much lower amount soon or later. Actually the future of bitcoin is so unpredictable that we can't affirm with accuracy when this price will be reached again. Perhaps it could occur this year... or never. No one here has the enough evidence beyond simple charts and alleged technical analysis. I think it is a matter of faith, ultimately. |

Anyone who can't see the writing on the wall has a serious case of denial, or unimaginable stupidity. When this fiasco, or should I call it Fiat-asco cuts loose this time it will make late 2013 Bitcoin prices look like the Russian Ruble back in 1998. Eventually we are going to see Bitcoin prices north of ten grand, and many alt-coins will be higher than Bitcoin is now. Almost every government in the world is BIG TIME BANKRUPT! No one can predict when it will happen, but it will coincide with deepening issues of the ongoing financial crisis, and bank failures. No one can predict the bitcoin of course, this is not possible, nothing is predictable. The halving is coming so that will let the price go to a high amount for sure but we will see what is gonna happen of course. Maybe its possible but within a month never ever that this gonna happen. |

It wont happen fast? You never know where these buy orders on the exchange comes from. It comes from multiple sources - like people scamming daily, mining companies that failed but have numerous coins ready to thrown down then buy back. On your part of longer price stable growth, that I do agree. |

Yeah, but lets be honest here. We all had this talk since like forever?? lol. Im not pessimistic on the whole price journey, it just simples absurd to think that far when we cant see minimum $500 let alone hold for awhile unless it does. |

Well, I believe many things are very predictable. Back in 2007 the housing crash was easy to see. I didn't predict the intensity of meltdown that happened in 2008-2009, but after that it was all pretty easy to see. I'm quite sure that Satoshi whomever he really is had a very good idea of exactly where this is going. In fact I think it is quite possible that he understood when the next financial crash would happen way back then. I think his timing, and Bitcoin's arrival at this point in history will prove to be one of the biggest events in financial history. As this year moves on, we will see far more talk about bank failures, and many events similar to 2008 will play out. I'm going to go out on a limb here, and predict that much of this will become obvious to even the most clueless individuals around the time the Bitcoin reward halves. I expected more people would figure it out as the talk of negative interest rates became more common, but the average person is still asleep at the wheel. No way It's very unlikely the price will rise this high. Just look where we at now.
Maybe a price near 500 or 600 maybe not to 1200/1300. Even with the halving this is like an utopia.

That $1200 price is not achievable within a months. But it is probably within 12 months to 18 months if all goes well. |

It is good that Bitcoin is going to rise. But it will not happen that fast. I have always said a slow price increase due to steady growth is better, but the fact is that crypto has always been extremely volatile... Over the long term that volatility is historically to the upside. |

but i haven't lost hope yet. there is still my 5 year plan.
