i wonder why its only us....youd think it would be a site wide problem if there was something wrong

There was a problem with one investment made by ercolinux to one of your loans.

The problem was the ercolinux investment had 9 decimal places (the underlying bitcoin infrastructure handles 8 digits, not 9) we do the payment splitting with double precision to avoid problems with loans with dozens of investors (or even hundreds). The investment page will be corrected to handle this.

Ercolinux, your investment will be manualy corrected to 8 decimal places and the problem will go away.

Well: this a good news, I was a bit worried.

im sorry for freaking out....with the error msgs and the fact that it was showing i needed to make repayments on a loan i never recieved just concerned me greatly....im sure you will have it straightened out....but you never how how someone is going to react to a glitch....you could have easily said  " hey it shows here you need to make payments   so you better make payments"

I just want to say i love your site  and i take extreme pride in my reputation and my repayment history.

I was just worried it was all going to go to hell over something i had n o control over.

thanks again for all your help.

Curious...
I provided a check-stub for address verification and credit score. It was approved for Address Verification but denied for Credit Score. What gives?

Please can you make the term and payment fields clearer?

I set a 30 day term and wanted to choose the option of settling in one payment, but mistakenly chose 'every 1st of the month'.

It now says my loan was repaid late (https://btcjam.com/listings/79)

Perhaps you could have the option of just choosing a date for the 'Payment Cycle' bit?

Thanks, keep up the good work.

We can update the simulator to show the first payment date, I think this will help a little.

To allow the user to choose when the payments will start can potentially cause confusion at the listings page, we will test that a little bit first.

I have my OTC linked, but my OTC rating has increased and I would like btcjam to reflect that.

can you make it refresh the score periodically?

(I also tried to resubmit the OTC/gpg key, but it does not allow that)

It's supposed to update daily, will verify if something happened with yours.

There is any news on a system to obtain back some of the money from the scammer, or at least have a part of their debt repayed?

Just wondering how many times a person can extend their listing?

This listing was supposed to end in a couple of days, but it has been extended by another week by the looks of it:
https://btcjam.com/listings/584

I have no problem with extending it to get a bit more funding, but I don't want my money stuck in limbo for long periods with no way to get my investment back.

This was a one time isolated fact, will not happen again. If you want to withdraw your investment please send me a PM.

It is fine for now, thanks.

Just wanted to make sure that someone couldn't continually extend the duration. With such a large amount it is understandable it may take longer to fund Smiley
