Cross-posting FYI (Monero and his forum, some facts about the work they are doing):

No. The reality is that you have no community, no development, no markerting. It's not me saying, you can check it here:

Work in progress -> 3 threads

Funding Required -> 2 threads

You don't have any "Developers Thread" or "testing" area. Nothing. In Academic and technical you have only 9 threads!!!!

You are an absolute fraud. It's good that the real investors do some research, Monero is only a big hype.

Keep spamming, trolling and fudding hard the competition. That's the only you can do.

Please stay on topic; Where is your stuff? Development, testing, marketing, something?

You are telling me you have only your "we are superior" thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.0

And the speculation thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753252.0

That's it? All the rest is fudding and spam?

My God.

Monero is not very famous yet. If Monero famous as BTC and LTC price very higher. Monero 1 year old. Bitcoin 6 year old.

this is a "stable" price right now. Better forget that dreams where monere is at $20. It's just a hype bubble right now, which can pop in no time

While I agree Monero was initially too high, also I would add the fact that Monero community compared to the other coin's communities are perhaps a bit more mature. Monero community and the new adaption simply has refused to overpay for their coins.
However, now as the emission is tightening, the people who are still living outside of Monero, need to rush if they still want to get some cheap coins since there will not be too many months left until daily emission is sub 10 k.

Yes, you hit the proverbial nail on the head. Funnily enough, though, Bytecoin's market cap is higher. Go figure.

For what you get with the wallet compared to other cryptonotes (and no updates for +8 months), and the asshole community spamming us to death, $ 4.7 million is very high for a coin like this.

I'm more inclined to ask "why does Monero have any value at all" or "why does Monero even exist" or "Why is the price of Monero greater than zero".

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

I don't mean literally reinventing the wheel.. bitcoin can already be transacted anonymous, there is no need for people to put their money into some shady alt with a couple hundred of users thinking they invented the next disruptive currency.

And the earth is a disc, or show any non-ominous way of doing so. Otherwise you have no clue what you are talking about, yet discredit those who are at least trying to contribute to something of importance. If you think financial privacy is of no relevance, let our Bitcoin apostle speak:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXwVqvrkm4g&feature=youtu.be&t=17m1s

Glenn Greenwald's opinion on privacy is quite interesting as well:

http://www.ted.com/talks/glenn_greenwald_why_privacy_matters

There are 2 forces who heavily do care about privacy. Those who hold power and those who have the courage and the means to attack it violently. There definately is a need for privacy, if you get it or not is your problem.

Bitcoin is already much more private than existing banking, more privacy for mainstream is bad and wont ever happen because of these reasons https://atriark.com/blog/bitcoin-beyond-investment-financial-freedom/

Your dreams:

your reality:

Just because you sold your liberty for greed, doesn't mean the rest of us have to slavishly repeat the "Bitcoin's private enough" mantra. Fear will make you stupid, blind, and weak--but it will never enrich your life.

I think so too. I'm just waiting for XMR's price to go down at least $0.50 and then I'll buy more.  Grin
