It will not more than its highest price and its lowest price from the begibbing until today..
Because i think bitxoin already have it safe and stabilize price from the last 2 years ago...

And my prediction will be around $200-$300

I think 1 BTC would be worth around $5,000~$10,000 in USD by 2020. Then again, it all really depends on how bitcoin community grows - the more investors, miners, and enthusiasts the higher the price.

Much cooler to underplay one's hand after so many have been burnt.

I will state categorically that the price in July 2020 will be $281.12. That gives us five solid years to go up a dollar and a bit. I hope this post doesn't come back to haunt me if it's $280.11 by then.

Always thought the $100.000 was total bulshit but can't help hoping it will get there eventually.

Please put down the number you think it will reach not the number you hope it will be  Cool

I agree with the 100,000 being BS.

I think it will go to $1000 again but I can't see it going much more than that.

Let's talk big... say if 10% of world trade would happen in Bitcoin the price of each Bitcoin would be in 10's, if not 100's of thousands of USD at current USD value.

I'm going to take a guess at between 2000 - 5000 USD, I think predictions of 100,000 USD are a bit ridiculous but so are predictions of the price being similar to what it is now or lower.

By 2020 we will have gone through another 2 block reward halvings (one in summer 2016 & one in 2020). This naturally should make the price rise. When you add in increased adoption, Gemini Exchange, ETF approval plus many other things I think my prediction of 2000 - 5000 USD is a pretty good estimate.

$10k sounds like a good price for the year 2020.
If it crosses this mark then it will be of no wonder.

dreams may come true, but 2020 is too early for the price to reach $10k level. my guess is a maximum of $2000 by that time.

hey everything is possible.
And even price dropping to ground is also possible cuz miners can start leaving after block halving as their income will be halved and then how will they pay their electricity and Internet bills.

Forget about dream price to reach $10k, more reason to avoid this dream and $2000 is to high prediction. Maybe we need after halving where price will go

As long as it's worth over 1k then that's all I care about. I think it should be worth  2-3 thousand by then though. Hopefully more but we'll just have to wait and see.

It's funny how most of the posters who say something like "it can't get to 10k, that's too much" simply because they think it's too much, not because they have valid reasons why bitcoin will fail are also the people who tend to write illogical sentences with horrible grammar.

I mean if you have valid reasons for why bitcoin will fail, great. Bitcoin is an incredibly risky investment, and there are many problems that need to be solved before it can go mainstream, that is completely true.

Otherwise, saying that bitcoin will remain a few hundred or a few thousand simply because your little brain cannot comprehend the possibility of its price going up is quite laughable. In what scenario will bitcoin be worth $200-1000? If everything else stays exactly the same? That's a ridiculous assumption. Either things improve and bitcoin improves, thus increasing in price many-fold, or nothing happens, in which case people will start losing hope and price will go down. The chances of bitcoin staying at a price that's not so low it's basically dead, and yet not high enough to be relevant in the real world is very, very low. Not impossible, but very low.

I'm willing to bet that every single person who says bitcoin cannot reach 10k in this thread (other than people who thinks it will fail) did not do ANY critical thinking, and only looked at the current price and thinks 10k is too far off. Learn to think critically, people.

It's 5 years ahead, and few halvings ahead as well, so if bitcoin continues to get interes on the scale it has been happening so far, i agree with
the popular opinion (judging by the poll) of >10 000 USD.

Looking at the marketcap of bitcoin today, even tho it seams like a lot of money, it really isn't. The only thing we need is to make bitcoin
a trend umung the younger generation, and the investors will follow, which will then result in another boom expansion in bitcoin related goods and services.

cheers
