Whatevery price people speculate, Bitcoin will not be worth that amount. The price will go where no one expect it.

I think that maybe 20years from now that price can be reached. Because within just 4-5 years it's hard to say that bitcoin price will be 400% more than now. I speculate that it will reach 100% of today price with will be around 500$.

That value level is too low to sustain a healthy mining scene, let alone give all the businesses that surround it enough turnover to survive. If it is around there by that point it's on its way to dying if it wasn't dead already.

Its hard to predict what will be next year, and for 5 years its almost impossible for me to guess( but im not so good in predicting). I would love bitcoin to reach 10 000$ but im not sure how much is possible that to happen, i read a lot about it there is some optimistic comments but there is also pessimistic one's.

1,000$ is a very reasonable price for bitcoin in 2020 looking at the current value of bitcoin it will rise up to 500-600$ after the halving and then will drop again to 550-450$ then will rise again after the next halving reaching up to 1100-1250$ then will drop to steady 1000-900$.

$1000 is the reasonable price, IMHO it seems 10.000 is far too . . . . . hard to reach, even for 5 years.

Feb. 14, 2010: I’m sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume.

People need incentive for using bitcoin. Or else we will keep losing users. I think most of bitcoins traffic comes from the deep web

I think most of bitcoins traffic comes from the deep web don't think most of the traffic comes from the deep web, it's only part of it whether we like it or not. there has to be a good reason for people to start using bitcoin. but they are too ignorant to understand or simply aren't interested.

i will be glad if the price of bitcoins will reach to about 1000 dollar by the year 2020.
honestly ~1000 seems like a pretty realistic number, anyone that thinks bitcoin is gna be worth 10000+ is just daydreaming. bitcoins price is a reflection of how much its being used and for it to go up that much the usage has to increase by a shit ton.

I agree, $1,000 seems about on mark. That will be around the time of the next halving as well.

Bitcoin will have very little volume, if any at all, by 2020. That is an absolute "no brainer!" Bitcoin has no legitimate governance, nor does it have transaction enforcement capabilities. If somebody fails to deliver digital services for bitcoin, one cannot enforce the deliverance of such goods. That aspect of bitcoin will continue to become more apparent as more and more thieves take advantage of its use, rendering bitcoin useless to all but the thieves.

A reputation system could take care of a large part of that. $10K does seem optimistic, so I would say not probable, but I wouldn't say not possible. There is just too much that can happen between now and then to make any sensible predictions though.

I am not agree with price like $10K, or $100K but IMO we can see price ranging $1500-2500 in year 2020

You never know, there could be some sort of tipping point event that causes a mass influx of new users. In one year we could go from $300 to $30,000 if demand suddenly sky rockets. I really don't expect a steady gradual rise. I expect a violent movement caused by FOMO.
