It is very interesting to compare first page predictions with the latest. It looks like people are less and les confident about big rises in Bitcoin value. Can't really blame folks. We're already over 10% of the way there compared to the beginning of the thread and not a vast amount has changed, though the value is considerably higher. I think most humans have a bit of a perception problem. 2020 really isn't far away but it simultaneously seems futuristic enough to decouple projections from current realities.

Actually, we only one have halving event (2016) and then there is nothing fundamental in the calendar (at least for now). Meaning, a lot will depend on whether something happens with the Bitcoin in terms of adoption in the next four years. Therefore, my moderate (or even optimistic) prediction of price reaching $1k by 2020.

It is very interesting to compare first page predictions with the latest. It looks like people are less and les confident about big rises in Bitcoin value. Or people become more realistic. The moment your bet is bitcoin will raise to 100k in 5 years, a visit to a doctor is advised. 20 years are very long term for bitcoin. If bitcoin is still there, its price will be over $320k.

I think 1 bitcoin in year 2020 is around $1,000 and it will stable and it wil never increase or decrease again.. Bitcoin is much more potencial in the future because we are increasing and i hope in year 2020 we have a atm machine just like a normal atm machine that you can withdraw it fast...

Regardless of what the future holds, that's the one single thing that we can be 100% certain will never, ever happen.

Oil price will be around $20 per barrel, bitcoin might be around $5 this comparison is without sense, why they still compare it to oil, gold is the most suited to compare to, if you really want to do it and gold is sitting at 1k, so bitcoin can reach that value, easily if we consider the minimal divisors of gold, to be 1g then we have a possible 28k in value for bitcoin

If the price remains stable, bitcoin would lose many users as now people prefer trading in bitcoins so that they can earn and since I am one of them, I would not be convinced to use it and would prefer fiat cash rather. I would not even get more than the market rate as I get now due to its votality. @OP: I hope the price reaches $2000 by 2020 as we still have 4 years and if the price can double in 2 years, I hope it's the same after 4 years too.

2020 is 4 years away I doubt that bitcoin will get to $10.000 before that time. I think bitcoin will probably be around $1000-$2000 in 4 years.

more votes please let's keep it going again What do you think will be the price be? For sure it won't be just in the 10.000 as stable money. I think 1000 or 2000 will be the price and that it will be very stable, but for bitcoin is never sure.

I hope the price will go even higher then 1k. This would be good, since we would level the last high form 2013.

bitcoin is quite difficult to get back to the price $1k like in 2013, but in 2020 it is very likely that we can touch it. I hope that every year there is good news that can make the price increasing
