Certainly, at this time all countries had a currency of its own, but there is no country that can meet the needs of their own, they conduct transactions with other countries whose currencies are different, then they use the dollar, or EURO. This is what makes the currency 2 extremely strong that could controlling the world economy.

That's very true, I think things will stay as it is presently but for bitcoins to dominate it will take a long time maybe another generation and the US dollar as it us dominating presently will keep up until one of the major currencies be it euro or pounds over takes it.

For the next decade I don't see any hard changes. But after that either the yuan or euro will take over.
The world is globalising and with that trade relations are mandatory, something the trump administration is demonishing by fighting with their biggest trade allies; Mexico, EU/UK and now Austrialia.

You are right, and considering India is not a big country, we can already assume that most users in that country are comfortable with using paper money. They cannot make it compulsory for the entire population, it will not create a good community when people cannot easy trade successfully.

yes governments have to accept the global changes, the changes in the need and interest of the people. first it is expected that all the government will come to one point and they will accept bitcoin as a global currency which will be beneficial for all the countries and people of the world, but if they do not agree then they will certainly think about starting their own digital currency.

Im agree with your opinion its nothing will be change in our fiat current system but in near future it possible that they make their own digital money that can replace their physical money.Thats the influence of cryptography and Bitcoin.

Bitcoin right now is an alternative currency for many of us and also a form of investment at the same time. If you ask me if it is going to be the currency that my future grand kids will be using in the distant future, I am not quite sure what to answer. I think only time will tell if bitcoin gets to survive many more years or if something else takes its place.

As it is a developing country, and most people are backward thinker. They will be not ready to accept any new implementation. Dollar will prevail as it is, Bitcoin is good as alternative currency and Investment at the point.

When we say world currency, it means currency which can be used in any country and is legit. At present, I doubt any fiat currency has that 'badge'. Every country is proud to use its native currency since it is a boost to its economy and sign of self-reliance.
But when we say about Bitcoin, it is a digital currency and can be used in any country. Countries can't limit it or capture its market. So, it is on right track and maybe in 20-30 years we can see Bitcoin a leading world currency.
Another aspect is 'measure of value' and under this US Dollar is leading. So, US Dollar continue to lead as a common measure currency but never become world currency.

well, china and Russia have already started using their local currencies for trade avoiding US dollars.China and japan are also trading using their local currencies.Since china is now the greatest trade partner of the african continent, china is seeking aggresively to use their currency for trade.China and UAE have also agreed to use their local currencies for trade.And China economy is projected to pass the US economy by 2016. So, we could expect china Yuan to be the new world currency.

i think not only China but all countries of the world giving preference to their local currencies. but still China is the great support of bitcoin. majority of the and miner are from China, so they are contributing too much in increasing bitcoin. may be China will be the 1st country to accept bitcoin as legal currency and hope that after that other countries will also start accepting bitcoin.

but i am confident that in future our kids will be using bitcoin as digital currency as well as they will use it in local shops like fiat currency. in fact in present time most of the online shops are accepting bitcoins, while in some area there are physical shops who are accepting bitcoins for shopping, but such shops are present only in such places where the users of bitcoin are more.

I do not know that what will be the future of Euro and I also do not say that it is fake but one thing is sure that dollar will not be our new world coin as bitcoin advancement and development is much faster than dollar. Yeah that is the possibility that in the new age bitcoin will be the global currency and it will have its own banks in different countries but I think it will be difficult for every country to start a separate banks and the banks will also not want to remain behind so in these countries the existent banks will work to start the use of bitcoin.

I don't know exactly why gold and silver are on the list. In fact there was a time when fiat currency was gold standard, and this was something that made the currency have real value, preventing the currency from being inflated by centralized institutions. Currently, US dollar does not have the same standard and has a much lower value. With regard to gold itself, it is very often used to store value, but it's very expensive to be shipped through the world. With Bitcoin, you have an infinitely lower cost, and this can be done with much more convenience.
