My account was disabled (even though I did buy Gold with BTC). I'm assuming some referral sign ups were fraudulent (?). I was asked to contact support. I did, 4 days ago. Nothing.
Well you would know....your the only one that would benefit ...... Not at all. Referrals could sign up several times by themselves to claim several bonuses on different accounts.

Why would they sign up muili accounts with your account when they would use their own to gain bonus twice. Well you're probably right. Somewhere, somehow, someone is taking advantage like they always do !

BitGold is not a scam. Wow that's great thanks for clearing that up, mind explaing why its not? Because he posted so to bring awareness to his sig. I normally pay them no count, but have noticed them recently by him and others that just so happened to post in threads I've recently visited, along with some vintage threads being revived by those having the same sig. So, I visited the link and was met with BULLSHIT!

Well it is your fault for fraudulently taking advantage of the referral program by paying people to sign up under your link. Some of your sign ups where probably 2nd or 3rd time users and once bitgold found out it was the same IP they shut it down and any associated accounts as well. I don't feel sorry for you, you where trying to take advantage of the referral program.

Why should the referee be punished if the referred users cheat the system? Is this explicitly stated in their TOS?

I didn't break any rules or refer anyone through an inappropriate measure. I reviewed the TOS even after it took 2weeks to receive it. Still I made sure that the steps taken were correct. Still this didn't save me from financial project "kick to the face".

Place your bets now! Will the website just up and disappear when they decide not to pay 90% of the people using it? Or will they stay and make up some excuse!?

Today i got a letter from them about payments this is what it said : Payment Instructions Dear *****, BitGold pays their affiliates in gold grams!. Your gold grams will be credited into one of our world wide vaults, in this case Toronto. Your conversions will be displayed in canadian dollars and then will be converted in gold grams when credited to your account. Your gold is fully redeemable to your bank account or our Prepaid Card. To be able to redeem your commissions please follow these easy steps: 1. Please create a Personal BitGold account at www.BitGold.com 2. Upload your government-issued photo ID to your BitGold profile: - Login to your BitGold account - Click on your name in the top right corner and click "Settings" from the drop-down list - Select "Identity" from the menu on the left. You will be able to upload your ID. Please ensure that the image of your ID is in a .jpg or .png format and that the image is large, clear of any obstructions, and legible. 3. To redeem your commissions you have two options: via bank wire or through our Prepaid Card. To link your bank account to your BitGold account please follow these instructions: http://support.bitgold.com/customer/portal/articles/******-linking-your-bank-account-to-bitgold?b_id=**** The most convenient option will be to request our BitGold Prepaid Card in which you will be able to redeem your gold to the card and spend the funds anywhere in the world at any point-of-sale that accepts major credit or debit cards and ATM machines!
