cores are running at 95c  96c

that's probably pushing it a little hard for sustained mining

That's a bit close to the max temp on your processor, do you have a fan you can add to pull more ambient airflow in? Have you dusted the machine out or replaced your thermal compound in the last 2 years? I wouldn't expect any damage, but it is indicative of a maintenance or cooling need.

A CPU miner was put together buy Elbandi_ on IRC and it appears to be working if you can compile from source yourself.

The pools I'm aware of:
https://axiom.suprnova.cc/ (ocminer)
http://coinspool.cu.cc/info_axiomhash (Elbandi_ creator of cpuminer)
http://176.9.59.110:9595/ (my pool)

https://github.com/bitbandi/cpuminer-multi

If you get it compiled use the following to mine at my pool or adjust as necessary for the other pools:
Code:
./minerd -a axiom -t 3 -o stratum+tcp://176.9.59.110:3032 -u Address -p x

Change "-t 3" to how many threads you wish to mine or remove to use all resources

thanks! Wink

same as current without the "2" at end.   Can you help?  or is this a background check lol.

No background check.  But if your account was hacked it's good for people to know.

Now we can consider "invest4al" a compromised account.

That's all.

Nice, and thanks for your input...but way over my head haha. Mining with a pool will decrease difficulty and distribute the blocks found evenly based on the cpu power you have right?

I have no idea how to compile from source...but would be interested to learn. Wink

Than scroll down on github url, find the build section, and use it.

If you get stuck, just use google, the internet has full of tutorials/howtos, you can find anything.

oh Its not as sinister as that actually its partly my error.  When bitcointalk database was hacked in May this year I changed my password as per standard operating procedure and then later lost that new password. The bitcointalk password reset emails never reaches mailbox or spam so I just haven't bothered.
I don't know who the dev is nor am I part of any teams or clubs. I did mine the shit out of this coin last night though and had a lot of fun doing it -   reminds me of maxcoin without the drama and gpu miners.

this is mining results of my modest desktop 9 hours after launch.  Downloaded, installed and started mining 6AM EST through 8PM EST approximately 14 hours, and it hit 2 blocks of 100 coins so far.  Perfectly acceptable and perfectly profitable.  https://i.imgur.com/UHzWWLP.png
