I just bought a 1500 axiom coins. Never a bad idea to diversify investments. The reward block might be the reason for the dump but once it goes back up based on the schedule it might recover

See this: https://ripple.com/uncategorized/curves-with-a-twist/But note carefully that they mention one specific Schnorr-based system that's got a lot of really nice properties (in particular, it's fast and has small signatures). That is *not* the Schnorr scheme used in Axiom. |

Another problem is because so many kids using their gpu and cpu they think this is a game and treat is as one joking around, thats why most of these coins dont and wont make it. This is our future and our families future (CRYPTO) and i cant wait untill there is a general feeling as though everyone starts treating it as though its serious and not some joke! Then and only then will most people here actually start making money instead of throwing it at us and then crying. such is like though right!? Also, then and only then will the optimisers be better known. Anyhow sorry to upset the announcements thread and post something that isn't an announcement, i just thought some people could benefit from the hint, however abrasive it is. |

Hello Axiom community, State of the Coin Report We know we've been a bit slow to respond and answer questions in the ANN today. We're a 3 person team and we work 12-14 hours a day on this project. If we were to choose a singular point we want to spread through the community it is that we're not Copy Pasta developers, majority of what we do is hand coded by us. Creating something NEW instead of mixing the same bag of features repeatedly is what we aim to do, and will succeed at. We're a long term project. We have been watching the ann and observing. We noticed a lot of people asking about the lengthy synchronization of the wallet. This is because of the increased security of this coin. We have however tested our multi threaded sync and it works beautifully as designed from scratch. This will be a necessity all coins, and frankly it would make a large impact on bitcoins ease of use if utilized there. We're looking forward to releasing this and a few other tweaks shortly. Our ANN rework is coming along and in the final stages, we will have a detailed paper on the current technology that we have in the coin, and a few things we are working on. Also, for those interested, we are writing a short paper on ECDSA technology, exploits and weaknesses and why other technology is necessary. The network however is exceedingly strong, the wallet has over an absolutely incredible amount of people opening it, so many so that our current listing of nodes is struggling to keep up. We are adding more nodes now to handle the demand. We're very excited to work on this project, the current price action does not phase us because we as developers know that the power to impact price rests firmly within our hands, and we plan to unleash that power. We're really looking at the current way that most coins operate, and we're searching out flaws that exist in not just BTC but all current alts. We're taking this head on and we're going to raise the bar.

It takes a bit longer to hand code things and roll them out, not only is there the conceptual phase of developing, but there is the testing phase as well. These however are the things that define current long term alts in the market, they are their long term for the originality in their technology.
We're in the very early stages of development, to everyones initial surprise the coin rose rapidly in value simply on listing on a major exchange. We're excited to see how our contributions to the code base can increase the coins worth, and propel us forward as we become a main stream alt.
We're pushing for Cryptsy and Poloniex as well, we hope they list us soon!
