Tested my miner on overclocked GTX 960 today -> 830 hps @ ~80W (wall).
Getting 750 Ti tomorrow, will let you know speeds there as majority of mining farms have it.
I don't have a GPU miner for this, how does that compare to a top end CPU?

What differentiates this coin from other so called new algo's that are supposedly cpu only that launch with crippled miners and private GPU miners?
Cryptsy seem to have liked the look of it, that will go along way in some poeple's books. It stakes very well and there have been a lot of opportunities to get into the market for not much btc. I can't comment on the coding but there was something posted earlier from earlz which was very good. Again I can't compare it to other coins with similar specs as I don't enter the market very often these days but this one peaked my interest

If a GPU miner gets public is all mining this coin then....?
I think people dont want to buy this coin yet in 30-40 days mining and stake going from 5 to 200 for a short time. Thats a lot more.
After that we get the real price.

When the rewards get higher for that short period, things will get mental. In the mean time the people staking now are getting good rewards. Yesterday I got over 100 Axiom in staking so it's well worth getting some now

It is a solid coin.. period! Coding is fine, no hidden nasties and no hidden blocks or other nonsense. Fair launch, etc etc. which all-in-all makes for a good little project. Only if dev is available and constantly innovating will help this keep coin on the straight and narrow.. Some guys on PR need to step up and get more people involved and find ways to spread the coin out some more. Move those large ominous looking wallets from Bittrex either into several smaller ones as to not put investors off and get that distribution curve looking better would help too.. News about a public gpu miner being made freely available will atleast help to even the playing field a little instead of those greedy fucks holding onto their optimized miners like gollum guarding his precious ring.

It would be a lot better if they were accumulating at a higher price, people really need to learn how to have patience in crypto

You could well be correct there, only time will tell. I don't mind GPU mining, someone somewhere will always spend the time and money on a miner so it will happen more often than not. I probably have a few to many Axiom but hey ho, it's only crypto

AXIOM Update August 14 Majika, longtime member of the crypto community, tweeted today that hes working a public gpu miner for the community. This is good news and will even the playing field for the next large POW/POS distribution phase. https://twitter.com/Crypt0Trader/status/632239054206205956Please retweet and show support. In about 5 more weeks we have a second large POW and POS phase! Add: We're unable to edit or the original Post since 2 days ago, bitcointalk is returning a generic Database Error message. Lol so this will be another big scam because Majika is involved. I suggest everyone don't invest in this coin till you won't see any big development launched by the dev. Why i'm telling this because many people trusted Majika when he released AeroCoin and then he converted AeroCoin to AeroMe. He and KryptoLyding both made false promises to the community and then KryptoLyding scammed 10 BTC from a AeroMe community member and till date he never returned the BTC and majika never released any project just false promises and only delay message. me and other people invested huge btc in the aerome but he even not replying in the thread. You can check yourself AeroCoin & AeroMe threads. And you can join slack group to confirm about KryptoLyding & Majika. Don't take my post in a wrong way i'm just updating you what Majika done with us I was about to invest in the coin but when i saw Majika is involved then i'm not investing in AXIOM coin. But AeroCoin, AeroMe & AXIOM seems like majika project and get ready to loss your BTC.

For those looking for an even faster CPU miner; my improved miner is for sale for a small fee (limited offer). It is ~1.6x faster than Nicehash's AVX2 miner. Originally got 380H/s on Nicehash's miner, with the optimizations I am getting 620H/s. This is on a Xeon E5-1650v3.

But seriously why anyone would release anything for nothing ? No bounty no nothing... before coin devs were giving bounties to involve community members, here nothing (people are just expected to buy, be supportive or shut the hell up) ps: actually it wouldn't take long to release a miner for amd (since nvidia already) exist but for nothing it will take a very long time.... (Time/(0 reward) = +infinity)

Maybe you could try and speedup the reference Cuckoo Cycle miner? There's a $500 bounty on a 2x speedup. See https://github.com/tromp/cuckoo

what is needed to compile it ? Just the usual tools like make and gcc. For starters, try git clone, then cd src and make test.

If anyone is wondering about the "optimized" staking wallets I tried them and didn't find any improvement. In fact I personally get less blocks with the "optimized" wallet then the regular one.

I am also running one but i have a third the stake weight in it so can't judge. what block sizes were you holding in there?

Thats probably because stake weight is over 1 mil now, someone is obviously enjoying the cheap coins. I have been staking a lot less at the same weights since those wallets were posted.
