I need help to install MN to VPS. While I try this manual got a lot of errors.
Manual: https://steemit.com/arc/@auspex/how-to-setup-an-arctic-coin-goldmine-node
VPS: Debian 7 x86_64
512 Mb RAM
10 Gb HDD

This commans were executed with errors:
sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev
sudo swapon /swapfile
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin

What can I do to fix it?

Instead of 4.8 version run this:
apt-get install libdb5.1++-dev

Not sure, that it will work properly.

The easiest would be to replace the Debian to Ubuntu 16.04 on the VPS. All the other dependencies are sorted there.
And if you have only 512 MB RAM, you would need at least 1.5GB swap, but I would suggest to have a 1GB physical instance at least.
You can have a 1GB RAM Ubuntu 16 for £1 a month from Aruba or 2GB for £3 a month from OVH. They work as I am using them to host my nodes.

Run the Masternode for 3days now, but I still got nothing.

On average, I am receiving reward in every 4th day. The first time it is likely even longer.
See my previous post about the reward frequency.

I was thinking on getting more MN soon, anyone know how many of them could i run on Pi 3? Right now 1 runs perfect for days (one of most stable MN & Client I've tried so far) I just wondering if it could cope with 5 or should I run them on PC Smiley Thanks for advices Smiley

You may be able to run 5 on a PI, however, I would not recommend it:
1. You need a static IP address - most home broadband provides dynamic IP
2. The masternode must run 24/7. Any downtime more than 60 minutes and you will go to the back of the payment queue (and wait as if you are a new masternode)
3. You can purchase a vps that can run 5 masternodes for €1 per month

How do I get 5 masternodes of ARC on one VPS. Is there some kind of tutorial for this. Or do you mean 5 masternodes of different coins? Curious also which VPS is a dollar a month. Thanks.

where is this coin traded anyway? The masternode returns looks interesting although I'm a bit worried about this coins development in general.

Maybe try it before criticizing? ARC is the most stable out of the masternode coins I am running. The payout is not frequent per masternode, but when you have it, it is more than other coins' reward. The best solution is to have more, have 5 nodes and you will have daily reward if that what you prefer.

You are right. The coin is not really going forward and looks like nothing is happening. The Slack channel is quiet and not much traffic here either. The developers are in the Discord channel, that is a bit more interesting than here....
But to be honest, the reason I invested in a ARC masternodes to learn how to set them up and manage a Dash fork masternodes. ARC was/is the cheapest, so I bought a few MN along with some DAS, ENT, NTRN and CHC masternodes. My experience with ARC is very good, this is the most stable, so I will keep them... The price can go only higher so nothing to lose.
The payout is a bit lower than before due to the increased number of masternodes. That is not necessary bad, more node mean more stable network, bigger chance of price growth.

After the descending trend, the Arctic found support in the area of 1,000 satosh. This is a psychologically important level, from which the price has strayed and many buyers have appeared in this region. As a result, the price moves up.
We shoukd place orders for bying in 1000-1100 satosh.
Target level, 1300 and 1500 satosh in the short term. 2500, 5000 satosh in the medium term.

Why would anyone bother with this shit coin?  I had no support re. errors on my masternode from the forums.  My masternode, after it was up and working fine for about a month, minted nothing.

Support forum is Russian only.

But hey, have fun!

Because it is cheap and stable, the upward potential is much bigger than the risk

Are you in the Discord's masternode channel? Or have you tried to ask at least the Slcak group for help?

My masternode, after it was up and working fine for about a month, minted nothing.
It is not enough info to try to troubleshoot for you, but I am not even sure it is not user fault. Have you checkted the masternode tab? it is full with nodes up and running for months.

Here are mines, running for a month now without restart and still minting as before:

So if you have an issue, I would suggest to join to the Discord channel and seek help there.
