So would Chelsea's line up tomorrow be a good indicator if Hazard is staying with them? If he isn't on, then he's prolly leaving? What do you guys think?
I just noticed that today's the final in the FA Community Shield between Chelsea and Manchester City. Chelsea are @ 3.70 odds and City are @ 2.05. Have you guys heard any news about possible line-ups? I am completely clueless about this match and am wondering if there will be some first squad players missing today as well. This is the first official match of the season, isn't it? So I guess they should come up with serious teams and not play a friendly-like game, right? I am hovering around both teams to score, but the low odds of 1.55 put me off. What about taking Chelsea +1 AH? I heard no Hazard, no Willian and no Kante. And maybe a couple more core players. But City won't have KDB, Jesus and a few others too. I think Pep might play some from his B team.

FA Community Shield lineups confirmed: Chelsea: Caballero, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, David Luiz, M.Alonso, Fabregas, Jorginho, Barkley, Pedro, Morata, Hudson-Odoi. Man City: Bravo, Walker, Stones, Aguero, Laporte, Sane, Bernardo, Mendy, Fernandinho, Mahrez, Foden. Not quite the "first team" we're going to see from both teams during the next season (I think), although both starting XI look strong. Obviously, no Courtois (he's in Madrid with his family), but I'm surprised Hazard wasn't even included as a sub

The community shield game going on now shows once again that the main favourites to win the title will be Manchester City. They are having an easy game against Chelsea and are leading comfortably with 2 goals difference with only few minutes remaining of this game. I wonder if Liverpool can be a real threat with all these transfers that the team did during summer.

Man City 2 - 0 Chelsea
A walk in the park for the Citizens. Stone was immense today, same with Bernardo Silva. Poor game from Mahrez, I expected more.
On the other hand, underwhelming performance from Chelsea. I think the midfield was key, Chelsea really missed Kante today, without him, Chelsea's pressing was just poor which allowed Man City to make smooth transitions. Honestly, I didn't expect much from Sarri's team, the players are still adapting to the new system, and it's gonna take a while before they get used to the new tactics.
The game could've ended 3-0 or 4-0, but Caballero was superb. All in all, Chelsea were outplayed.

Sergio Aguero scored in the 13th minute and Chelsea never recovered after that. Chelsea did not look comfortable. After all, it has been only a month since Maurizio Sarri took over. But it was too bad that they managed only a solitary shot on target.

Manchester United manager Jose Murinjo said on Sunday that the club has to invest more money in transfers in order to be competitive in the Premier League.
He said that this would be hard season for them if they did not bring more players.
If that does not happen, I think we can remove them from favourites for winning title.

Manchester City dominated most of the meeting good physical readiness and better stages of his opponent Chelsea, Riyad Mehre have distinctive performance after the recent injury but he messed few good chances but still better option for me then Strrling. On the blues side, coach Maurizio Sarri needs to get the least damage possible in the first 10 rounds of Premier League. The players are difficult to adapt to the way they need to play. Also the defense problem that will confront Chelsea's defense is soft and easy to break, neither Rudiger nor David Luiz La Cahill have a defensive level worthy of Chelsea and their Italian coach.

No shit. They wouldn't have won it even if they got a few new players. I think it'll be a while before United every seriously challenge for the title. They'll probably have a mediocre start to the season and Jose will be sacked.

Curtain raiser done and dealt with. Aguero showing he still got what it takes after all these seasons - I wouldn't count him out for the Golden Boot either, even if I'm confident Mo Salah will pick up from where he left of. Still a few days for late transfers to happen, you can bet we'll get a surprise or two! If I were a United fan, I'd be tempted into thinking this is just the start of a fantastic season, with the tone set by a dour Jose engaging in the famous mind games on all fronts against City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Old foes are gone (ok Benitez still around but he won't pick on Newcastle) but a fan will be hoping that all this frowning and complaining somehow galvanises the team into a crazy parked bus 1-0 story of champions. Hoping.

Well as far as I know Jose hasn't even bought a permanent home in England and is living in a luxurious hotel full time Maybe he is completely aware that he won't be around for long if there is another slip-up next season so he is ready to pack up his bags and leave immediately should the need arise haha. Joking aside, I bet he is living in a luxurious apartment inside the hotel and the amenities on site are top-notch. Now if only he was able to win the trophy this time around..... or he would need to vacant his place very soon But I think Jose is quite the social butterfly and he will find a new team to manage real fast

^ Yup and he hasn't really stayed at a single club for more than 4 years or so. If he leaves this season or at the next season then Man United would be his 'greatest failure'. He was brought in to win the league and play attacking football, but nada... He could at least give United fans the latter.

My prediction for the English Premiere League champions
1st = LIVERPOOL 2nd = MAN.CITY 3rd = SPURS 4th = MANCHESTER UNITED
The reason why Liverpool can win next season is the purchase of players that match the needs of the team. Liverpool have brought Fabinho and Naby keita to strengthen their midfield after Coutinho's departure for Barcelona. And also the arrival of Brazilian national team goalkeeper Alisson Becker who became the most expensive goalkeeper in the world will clearly provide a sense of security for the back line that has become a weakness of Liverpool. Last season, Mohamed Salah's highest score will remain Liverpool's mainstay to break the opponent's defense, supported by mane and firminho which will surely be a scary trio next season. There is no reason for Liverpool not to win this season.

Well I am a United supporter. I am not gonna lie, after Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement all the managers have failed to achieve anything substantial. I am starting to wonder if Mourinho's era hasn't already run its course and he needs to go now. I could care less about who the next manager would be, honestly. Big name or no-name manager it doesn't matter as long as they manage to win a trophy again. United have been in shambles since Ferguson left and the only significant trophy for that period of time was the Europa League cup last year. That's not enough for Mourinho to stay.

I don't think Mou has found the right strategy for Manchester United's game so for the fans to be patient again because I'm sure Mou has the capacity to return the glory of Manchester United like in the Ferguson era, it's just that Premier League competition is now tighter than in the seasons ago where great coaches came to the Premier League especially the toughest rival Mou was also in the Premier League namely Pep Guardiola.
