^  Yup and he hasn't really stayed at a single club for more than 4 years or so.  If he leaves this season or at the next season then Man United would be his 'greatest failure'.  He was brought in to win the league and play attacking football, but nada...  He could at least give United fans the latter.

Well I am a United supporter. I am not gonna lie, after Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement all the managers have failed to achieve anything substantial. I am starting to wonder if Mourinho's era hasn't already run its course and he needs to go now. I could care less about who the next manager would be, honestly. Big name or no-name manager it doesn't matter as long as they manage to win a trophy again. United have been in shambles since Ferguson left and the only significant trophy for that period of time was the Europa League cup last year. That's not enough for Mourinho to stay.

I don't think Mou has found the right strategy for Manchester United's game so for the fans to be patient again because I'm sure Mou has the capacity to return the glory of Manchester United like in the Ferguson era, it's just that Premier League competition is now tighter than in the seasons ago where great coaches came to the Premier League especially the toughest rival Mou was also in the Premier League namely Pep Guardiola.

Everything could happen in premier league, back then we would not even dream a club named leicester would win the premier league and they did. There are tons of things that Mou need to run before the start of the season including new strategy of course but surely he will be able to pull that out. If they managed to get smooth run on the beginning of the season then it should be easy for them till the mid season

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I don't anticipate things changing too much this season, but who knows? Liverpool and surprinsingly Man United will be a little closer to City I'd guess some will say Manchester United are going in crisis with Mourinho especially but they really don't need all of those players they linked in true they will help but not that much as you can see their lineup is good they have solid defense as you can see from last season they didn't concede that much of goals and their problem was scoring but now with Sanchez back in form Lukaku should have better season then last only thing they shorte on is right winger but they can try Martial at that position while for left back Mourinho should have confidence in Luke Shaw but still not close enough to challenge City because the blues have almost the best squad in premier league only spot that can hold them back is defensive Midfielder as for Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal will likely battle it out for top four, but I'd give Spurs the advantage out of those three.

Liverpool did good on transfer market so far: a goalkeeper (Alisson), central (Keita) and defensive midfield(Fabinho), and a winger(Shaqiri).  Their variety of attacking players is incredible: Salah, Firmino, Mane, Sturridge + more. I think this season they have a solid chance and there is a great value to bet on them for the title.

I don't think there's enough value on them for me to put money backing them tbh. City will probably take it again as they're still a much stronger squad imo, but I think Liverpool will have no problem with finishing runners up and I would prefer them to win over Manchester any day.

Looks to me like he’s trying to get himself sacked. Have you seen all his comments in press conferences moaning  constantly?

Fergie would fucking hate him I think.

I don't think he's trying to get himself sacked but just softening the blow for when he does so he has an excuse to fall back on. I don't think they should sack him unless they do terrible but they've got the squad to finish in the top 5 and they should be able to get third place I think this year but I'd probably put them at fourth place I think.

Thing is Man Utd didn’t bring him in to finish 3rd, 4th or 5th did they? He’s on massive wages, if they wanted to be also rans they could have kept Van Gaal or even Moyes.

Mourinho has to compete seriously for the  PL or CL this season or else he’ll get sacked ino.

Yeah I second this. I think they selected Mourinho for a reason as he was supposed to rejuvenate the team and turn things around for the better after the failed attempts by the famous yet unsuccessful previous United managers. Mourinho was regarded at the time as one of the top managers in the world (some would argue he was the best), but I think he has lost a lot of his lustre since his first tenure at Chelsea. I think he just doesn't cut it any more, and I am kinda getting tired of his crazy excuses after failing to win important matches. I mean, there surely are less expensive managers that can respond wittily to journalists' questions all the while looking gloomy and dejected on camera lol  Grin

But Mourinho isn't a magician. He can only work with the squad he's got and when City, Liverpool, and Spurs all have much stronger squads imo there's not much he can do about it, hence why fourth and a Champions league play off spot is probably the best they can hope for. I think that would be a successful season for them. Maybe they can shine in other tournaments/cups but I don't think they've got a chance with the Premier League and this isn't Jose's fault (imo). If they can't win it with Mourinho then I doubt they'll be able to win it with anyone else either. Teams blame managers for too much these days and I don't think they should be sacked the moment they don't win the league. If United finish 7/8/9th then maybe, but not top 3/4/5th especially considering the strength of their opponents.

Wow I really like your opinion, I also believe that liverpool this season will have a greater chance of becoming an English Premier League champion, I think Liverpool's first match against West Ham can be a decisive start to the season well, let's wait for the surprise that Liverpool FC will give this season.

Now they have a lot of options for rotation in squad and will definitely attack the title. Last year they could have still beat any team but season is long enough, so they needed more class players.

Sorry but I disagree, see the image below. Since Mourinho was employed he’s spent the 2nd highest amount (net spend) on transfer fees. He’s got nobody to blame but himself, this is his squad.

Yup no sh*t.  It's like his usual exit strategy whenever he feels like he doesn't want working for the club anymore.  He did it at Real, Chelsea and he's doing it now at his current club.

After Mou, bring in Poch please.  Thanks.  Grin

Sorry but I disagree, see the image below. Since Mourinho was employed he’s spent the 2nd highest amount (net spend) on transfer fees. He’s got nobody to blame but himself, this is his squad.

Still, you can only work with the squad you've got regardless of how much you've spent. He might have spent a lot but he's not spent as much as City nor got players as great as they have. Same goes for Liverpool. Managers rarely get all the players they want and if they did get all the superstars then they'd probably win the title.

If the club has the fund to really provide the manager with any player they want then they should do that. There is no point to hoard all those money unless they have no intention of getting the trophy. If the club really aim for the trophy in hope to secure better sponsorship next season then they should spend some money to sign better player

i think Mourinho share some of the blame of not having the squad he wants to compete on EPL with for instance he overpaied for Pogba and not like Guardiola his squad was not that great either Guardiola had better squad and he didn't need to make that drastic changes but at the end he did and got a lot of players some were bargains some were overpaied but it were the ones he needed to make City Champions again While Mourinho actions arrogance and his style of play are the reason of everyone coming against him even players starting to lose confidance over him. Manchester made first mistake when they hired Moyes as manager then LVG came for the transition stage and his only biggest achievement was blocking DeGea move to Madrid while Mourinho now is dealing with players that LVG signed that he finds not good enough to be in his team like Matial Herrera Shaw Darmian Rojo and Blind whom already got the axe so he must try to work with what he got for now he already bought 6 starters with degea between the sticks he need to fill the oher 4 spots from what he have.

The money must be used for team development every season. It will be useless if that amount of money is not spent on buying players who can help win trophies every season, although now football has become an industry so money is the main goal of every club but a lot of money without the club trophy is nothing because of a it is achievement that history will always remember.

Not really thats the case, some players are nothing more than showcase to make more money. Believe it or not the football industry is just so huge that they could make money in one day just by selling top star jersey. Thats why some team wont be hesitant to spend alot of money to get a certain player that are popular but not really necessary needed on the team

The opening game of the Premier league is Manchester United against Leicester City. The opening game usually have shown that the favourite will not win and I think we will see a direct first upset to Mourinho and co. Manchester United have struggled lately to show a good football and I think that they will just continue to show that pattern in the first game of the opening Premier league.

with few days left before the start of the most exciting league in the world, Manchester City appear to be most prepared than the opposing teams. During the Community Shield Pep Guardiola proved to be a strong coach and tactical fit for any competitor under any circumstances. Chelsea need some time in this season to work on the harmony with Sarri and learn the new tactics that coach is requesting. Manchester United is seen under Mourinho as just a defensive team waiting for the opponent to go forward no matter the level of their opponent was so i don't think he is aiming to win the EPL this season only Tottenham and Liverpool who are a threat to Guardiola he league on the threshold of the start is a physical and strong league and needs more than a variety and this feature is available only when Pep Guardiola Aguero can be compensated by Jesus or Mehrez .. And a team like Liverpool if Salah was injured there is no substitute player in his calibre.

So are you suggesting that betting against Man United is good?  It could be a good idea depending on the odds...  I haven't checked anything yet but I would never bet anything less than a +1 at 2.50 odds especially if LCFC is away.
