Ah yes, the'lll probably go with good ol' play long balls and wait for Lukaku to score a goal in the 85' min tactic...yeah, I kinda missed those tactics from The Special One. On a serious note, I also expect Man Utd to snatch a dramatic win today, obviously, pressure is on Mou's side, but I feel like they're gonna play their hearts out today to get those 3 points after that pathetic performance against Brighton.

Man U 2-1 Spurs is my prediction (don’t bet on that, I’m not).
Yes, I am having same feelings that Manchester united will win this match today. I think Jose Mourinho has a way of winning big games. Spurs are likely to score too. My prediction for this match will be Manchester united 2:1 Spurs. Manchester united need to win this game.

I never know what to expect from Man Utd now. You expect them to be terrible but last season they beat both Man City & Liverpool. It wouldn’t surprise me if they won 3-0 today. last time tottenham played at old trafford they lost 2-1 , yeah i would expect a boring game with 1 goal difference only . 1-0 or 2-1 , once united could score a goal mourinho will set park the bus strategy on! he want to play safe and boring , no passion to play football anymore. if there's a ball possession betting i would go bet for tottenham to take the possessions more than 50% !!

Tonight is the big game of the Premier League where a desperate Manchester United is looking to win in order to make up to their fans for the game lost against Brighton. The atmosphere at Old Trafford is always energising and might be a key factor for the game.
Tottenham will not come here just for a sidewalk though as they are going to try and keep up the good run they are having and want to win this game in order to be at the top together with Chelsea and Liverpool. It will either be a boring 0-0 game or a goal bonanza game tonight.

Hmmm Lukaku, Pogba and Lingard for United at the front, not too convincing an attack if you ask me. Unless Lukaku explodes in the first half or Tottenham makes a grave mistake or something crazy happens, I think the first half is gonna be slow and possibly a 0-0 draw at half-time considering Mourinho tactics. I am gonna bet my favorite BTTS @ 1.75 though. Cheers and happy watching everyone.

Having said that, Tottenham's defence haven't been completely rock solid, conceding against Newcastle and Fulham - teams they should be keeping clean sheets against.

And Lukaku wasted a huge opportunity to put United ahead... Mourinho was so disappointed at that open goal miss that I could almost see him double-facepalming at the sideline lol I think we will see some goals in the 2nd half as both defences are flimsy and defenders mistakes are mounting up. Did anyone else bet on the 0-0 HT?

Man Utd were once again terrible with yet another huge loss. I really thought that a sure bet was for both teams to score but that wasn't the case. I ended up breaking even as I did have over 2.5 goals as well. By the way it was Harry Kane's first goal scored at Old Trafford which was a surprise to me as I thought he would of scored a goal on this stadium in the past with all the goals he scores each season. I know its early on in the season but I can't see Man Utd making top 4 this season with the way the team is currently playing. Something needs to change!

this loss is not in Mourinho it was on his players mistakes and you can see how in the first half how united performed they were clearly a better team then Spurs but Lukaku missed a big chance that could have been the turning point for them but in the second halve the defensive mistakes were catastrophique. and Mourinho have done big changes from previous game as he changed 6 players but still the same problem i guess he was right for pursuing the board in buying him a central defender as it looks like no one is good enough to play there, the only good point from this match is Luke Shaw he is showing Mourinho that he is up to the task to be the sole Left back after a summer full of spectaculation over hm staying or leaving.

Tbh it's also Mourinho mistakes, he don't have any plan b and his tactic always like that. When Man United can't make goals, mourinho other plan only subs Fellaini in and hoping he can make a goal from heading. Losing again and this is at their home Old trafford, i guess rip mourinho.

You know, this was an example of just how stubborn Mourinho is. I'm not saying they played completely defensively as everyone expected them to do, they actually didn't and so many close chances and almost converting in the first minute, so don't anyone say that this team didn't want to win it. But I would say that they only really went for it after being down.
They were slow to attack, moved only faster after needing to score to draw. That is what frustrates to watch this team. I predicted 3-2 and should have been right!
Spurs weren't that good, actually! Just got their goals. 3-0 is not really how the game looked. But no excuses for United who spends 64 million this season, who have superstars in their team, super manager. Lose at your home ground this big, to a London team!

Oh man what a disastrous night that was. Why did Jose Mourinho enter the pitch and start clapping and congratulating his players and the fans was a completely mystery to me. I was like "What the heck is this guy doing? Has he gone mad?" And Ed Woodward was in the stands and he didn't looked amused at all. Mourinho should get his stuff together or at least gracefully make his exit before another embarrassing blunder gets him sacked this time for real.

Exactly. Spurs, who made zero transfers, played pretty average to be honest. And still beat big spending United 3-0. It's embarrassing really. And Mou's press conference was absolutely bizarre. It's time for him to go.

Think you're all going to be right, which is why United are still the favourite even after all the portents. Park the bus, get a point, maybe give Spurs enough niggling tackles, get under their skin, rile them up to get careless and give away freekicks that Utd can profit from. But maybe tonight's the night Poch gets his joy from Old Trafford. Maybe Kane adds to his lone August tally. Maybe Bailly continues his desperate form and gives away another penalty. Maybe we all get surprised as Mourinho employs Sanchez to spearhead a raiding formation. Please surprise me! 3 separate bets for this game: United Yellow Cards @1.75: Goals over 2.5 @1.97: Spurs to win @3.08: So I got almost everything I wanted, except the yellow cards bet. Just goes to show that maybe Pogba was right: they weren't fired up enough to win this contest. I mean, 3 goals down with no reply and no one lost their cool except the manager? 4 teams sit atop the table now, City took a slight tumble but seeing United and Arsenal on 3 points is a sign of the times, even this early on in the season. Fortunes are shifting, power is shifting from clubs. It took a lot of stop-gapping, big signings and money for United to hold on to their glory post Ferguson but the decay set in a while ago, as it did already on Wenger's swansong. Too soon to speak of a new era of City dominance?

Perhaps, but not because of an unlikely United resurgence, but because of Liverpool. Great players, great manager, great team work. Keita seems like the perfect addition to Salah, Mane and Firmino, and their defence have looked pretty so far this season. I think City and Liverpool will be first and second, but it's too soon to call in which order.

Mourinho is a dead man walking, he’ll be sacked before Xmas. 2 losses out of 3 is just not good enough.

Oh wow he really said that? This has got to be the best mic drop I have ever seen The man is right though I have to give him that, that's another one of his classy excuses haha. Well this IS his best excuse ever a legendary one at that He also said United fans left the stadium early because it takes 2 hours to get to the center of Manchester after games due to traffic. Here is a video of the whole press conference: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/08/27/jose-mourinho-walks-press-conference-defending-managerial-record/

Yup, same feeling here... It could be 2 - 1, but it could also be 1 - 0, 1 - 1, 0 - 0 with Mou parking the bus. Lol. And they're playing at Old Trafford. No way are they allowing themselves to be embarrassed again right after losing to Brighton. Knowing Mou, a point here would be like a win. I’m going to watch the game with my bed sheets on the sofa & smoke a few blunts. Not feeling too good, got the shits & a bad stomach. Lmao! Then you prolly shouldn't smoke out cos it's gonna give you the munchies. Anyway I think Man United played pretty well up until the Spurs was two goals up. I hope to see more of it from Mou but with either Rash or Sanchez up top. Maybe even Martial...? Lukaku just isn't a top 4 striker. IMHO.
