The Gunners chose well with Unai Emery if you think about it.  Even if they don't get CL football, they could still win the Europa League...  Emery won it for three years straight with Sevilla.

I think the new manager of Arsenal Unai Emery should focus more to guide Arsenal and qualify for the Uefa Champions League next season, Arsenal have beaten Tottenham today with the scoreline of 4-2 and I believe the squad of Arsenal at the moment definitely have the qualities to challenge for a spot to become the top 4 teams on the English Premier League table at the end of this season.

So derby day is over, not a bad way to spend 6 hours watching some good football. The Chelsea vs Fulham was probably the least exciting of the three, feels like that 1st goal in the 4' min killed the game, Fulham had a pretty straighforward gameplan which was defend the draw, once Chelsea scored, Fulham didn't know what to do to change the course of the game.

Arsenal vs Tottenham, pretty good first half from Spurs, awful second half, but props to Emery for knowing what should be done in the 2nd half: exploit Tottenham's biggest weakness, the midfield. Once Ramsey was on the pitch, the team felt more fluid, Torreira was able to provide a more defensive role, Auba and Lacazette playing out wide allowed the Gunners to have more options on the attack, and Ramsey provided the creative football that they were missing with Iwobi on the pitch. Liverpool vs Everton, the Toffees deserved a lot more, what a performance, but seriously, how do you concede such a goal? was it pure luck? is Pickford too fucking short? or was it all calculated (Allison to Arnold, long ball, a header from VVD, hit the crossbar as intended, and then Origi scores the goal lol)?

I know, I'm still feeling the buzz! But you really couldn't write the script for last night, not in a thousand games. I know it's only a Merseyside derby but surely every neutral would have loved that we kept within touching distance of bleeding City. I know I may have said it too many times, but seeing Liverpool scrape by so often and still playing far below their best, gives me a lot of hope for when they do come out of their rut. City are top but they're playing fluidly and we all know teams can't possibly play at the same level all season. Two-thirds of the league to go, plenty of time yet for the Reds to find their mojo.

Yup...  And am I the only one slightly shocked to see how actually better the Gunners are vs the Spurs?  I had the game at 1 - 2 for Tottenham to win at our betting pool.

Can't wait for the reverse fixture.

I would usually feel confident to place my bet on West Ham to beat Cardiff City in full time for the upcoming match today in the English Premier League, but Cardiff City seems to be picking up more points recently as they have managed to win 2 matches out of 3 matches played, and Cardiff City would surely need to gain more points in order to stay clear from the relegation zone when they are travelling away from home, I think they might try to force a draw in full time against West Ham today.

I think Arsenal is going to win tomorrow and with a goal difference of more than one goal. If they repeat the gameplay they did against Tottenham they will win against Manchester United too and with goals difference.

Btw Southampton is going after Ralph Hassenhutl to be its next manager after sacking Mark Hughes.  Should be good if they get him.  That's another decent manager in the EPL.

Ashamed to say I had no idea about that name before you mentioned it, even if I'm familiar with the Red Bull teams performances recently. Austrian coach with Bundesliga credentials, definitely can't go wrong there but it's hard not to improve over Hughes, with all respect due. Saints deserve something better, and while I normally blame players as a team, guys like Hughes are outdated in the Premier League.

Is no one backing Watford tonight for over 11/1? There's also a less bold 2/1 +1.5 handicap. I know, Sterling's on form and de Bruyne's back from injury, but I'm hoping against all hope Watford take a page out of Wolves' courage against City. Just go at them, you're at home. And guys like Sterling and Sane, they're actually quite susceptible to home crowds who're on their back.

Mou seems to be like the kind of guy who's too proud to admit defeat so I doubt he'll resign. And Man Utd haven't found a replacement for him so there's no chance they'll sack him right in the middle of the season (or especially in December, the busiest part of the calendar for english clubs), and like @tokeweed said, he got the team in the KO stages of the CL so he's not doing that bad.

He’s not going to resign, he’ll wait for them to sack him because if he resigns he won’t get a contract pay off.
Man Utd will probably have to pay him a few million pounds to terminate his contract so he’ll wait for them to pull the trigger.

They might wait to sack him when they get knocked out of the CL. Until then they still have a big trophy to fight for.

Manchester United vs Arsenal is a big game, and it's a shame it's in midweek nevertheless this game is very important for both the teams and their managers. If Arsenal repeats the way they played against Tottenham then there's no way Manchester United can beat them. I expect Mourinho to be parking the bus, and I can even bet Manchester United shall only be defending with no real intent to attack. I hope for Manchester United sake Mourinho is shown the door, otherwise we shall never qualify for top 4.

I totally forgot there were games last night till I saw the newspapers about stupid City winning again. So used to the games played from Friday to Monday and midweek for cup games and CL. And forgot that December is usually packed.

Manchester City are letting in goals now, of course not to the level other teams are but if watford can manage 2-1, it must mean City is not impossible to at least draw against.

Oh and Mourinho adjusted his target of top 4 in December. I have a deep feeling 1 of the big 6 is going to shock everyone in December. I bet it's Manchester United.

Manchester City won easily yesterday although it let one goal in , that was because of last moments of the game a distruction can happen when you are leading by two goals.

Liverpool has to win today and I think they will because they are playing against Burnley which has not shown a good football this year and it is struggling.

You are good enough to go because Mourinho is really can do magic like this when most of peoples feel he is down and out now time for him to do some serious job and stop this all criticism  even Arsenal is now also on target and they done good enough for last few matches but this War is going to be very tough for them and home advantage is very good for Mourinho.

Manchester United must win to keep the opportunity to stay ahead of the champions league next season, and also with a victory maybe it will be a little safe for Mourinho's position. This will be tight and difficult, my personal prediction will be a 2-2 draw.

Yeah that was funny but I get why he did it, like you said he’s under a shit load of stress. I can’t imagine how stressful that job is, the expectation & pressure etc.

I guess Tottenham might have a chance to take over Arsenal at the 4th spot on the English Premier League table if they could beat Southampton today, since Arsenal are travelling to Old Trafford to play against Manchester United and even though Manchester United are not in their best form but I think they are still a much stronger team than Southampton. There is a high chance we might see a draw at full time in the match between Manchester United and Arsenal, and I believe Tottenham would be able to beat Southampton today and claim all three points in order to get into the top 4 teams on the table again.
