Philippe Coutinho wants to return to Liverpool since he didn't have a place to play in starting eleven. From CNN, Countinho asking Klopp to bring him back to the clubs. He was ready to join with lower wages in Liverpool. But, there a rumor if several teams also want this player such as MANU, Chelsea and Arsenal. I think, when a player decides to join his old clubs for the second time, maybe it will easy for the manager to granted player requests. But, everything still possible, because the chances not just in Liverpool. Question is Coutinho worth now for Liverpool. Liverpool is filled up with good players now and in his position I think there are already some very good players even in bench like Nketiah, Minamino and more. Plus Barcelona paid €160 million for him and with the position of Barcelona right now, I hardly think they will let them get him for a much lesser bid. Now is Coutinho still worth going for? I hardly think so.

I don't see a scenario in which Coutinho would return to Liverpool. Liverpool is a changed team now, one that does not tolerate people holding on to the ball for too long, spamming shot after shot from 30 yards and not participating in defense.
Coutinho was great for Liverpool, technically would probably still be the best player at the club, but they could not find a way for him to fit neither into Barcelona or Bayern team. He would still be expensive and he's just not as good as he thinks he is.

I agree with you. He is now like another "Pogba " or "Jovic ", players with great potential but they "somehow " became lost cases. To much popularity, pressure, money, who know but it seems Coutinho will be another good player who couldn't fulfil his full potential.

OK so I know I am Spurs hopelessly but Manchester United lost in a friendly to Championship team,,, so surely with Kane back fully fit, together with Son we have to be at least 50-50 to win against them right?

Coutinho made a choice, he left and we benefited greatly by spending that money on Alisson & Van Dijk. Coutinho is a good player, he hasn’t played his best football since he left us though. I don’t think Klopp would take him back, I’m not sure where his next move will be tbh.

I agree with you, if Coutinho comes back to Liverpool I think he can only disrupt the harmony in the team. any comeback is not a very good move (ask Pogba and MU). He played well, he wants more even if I think Liverpool is the greatest club than Barcelona. I hope Klopp will not bring him back, players must learn to respect the club they play for. Also, Coutinho maybe can be more realistic. He is not in the top class in the last few seasons, so he can try with "smaller" club and with the lowest salary. He needs to play and get his carrier back.

Coutinho would be good for a team like Arsenal or Chelsea, the thing is I don’t think Barca will want to let him leave cheaply. A new club isn’t going to want to pay big bucks for a player who hasn’t been at his best for 2 years now so there’s a problem. Barca might just have to take the hit & let him go for 50-60 million pounds, it’s better to do that than another pointless loan.

I remember reading somewhere that Klopp was actually begging Coutinho to stay in Liverpool. He told him that nowhere would he be so accepted and respected as in Liverpool. Unfortunately Coutinho disobeyed his advice and went to Barcelona while during that time Liverpool became the best club in England and the world. In my opinion he made very bad decision.

^^Exactly. Barcelona would only let him go for a good bid that hits the mark and I don't think club will be interested in spending that much money for out of form player. Even I also don't think Arsenal or Chelsea are that much interested since there are lot of capable and young talent to go out for. They might have an interest in him but given his form , I don't think club will be giving him that much priority to get into the team.

I don't think Lampard would be willing to spend that much on a player that obviously will the thinking he's bigger than the club. If we can get him via loan then no biggie, we the fans will accept him to come give his best and contribute to the attacking force of the team but the new squad Lampard is building won't be a dependant one like the previous squad that depended solely on hazard to create the magic (chances) in every game. Coutinho made one of the greatest mistakes in his life by leaving Liverpool and thankfully klopp did all he could to advice him but he didn't listen.

Shame about Coutinho really, he could have been one of the best attacking midfielders in the world if he stayed at Liverpool. The Barcelona transfer totally destroyed the momentum he was building in his career.

He was young and was on his prime, Anyone on his age and talent would be moving out to a better and bigger club. Liverpool was fourth on the league before he moved to barcelona. Liverpool wasnt the top club that anyone could expect to win the league with a huge margin . So I wont really blame his decision to move out. Everything happens for a reason and Liverpool wont be the same as the current liverpool if Coutinho is still on the club. Things could be different if he is still there, probably they are not going to win the league , God knows what will happen .

Coutinho messed up indeed by leaving Liverpool at that time I think he was too ambitious thinking that he would shine at Barcelona unfortunately he couldn't pick up his form If he had stayed he would have been Liverpool midfield maestro thus that team will be a team to reckon with in Europe although Liverpool did well in his absence meanwhile his coming back won't make any difference due to dip in his form while the trio of Mane, Salah and Ferminho will still spearhead their attack leaving him with no option to fit into the team.

indeed if we remember many of the top players who returned after being sold did not really provide the maximum role. I also would not think that would be a great transfer like when he first played for Liverpool, but we'll see, is it true that the rumors or Coutinho will reach an agreement with other EPL teams. let's wait for the results

Life can never be precisely predicted. Before Coutinho, we see Zlatan Ibra. who brought titles (Champions League) to clubs one season later the one he left those clubs. He left Inter Milan, Inter Milan won Champions League. He left Barca, Barca won Champions League, but nothing happened after he left PSG and Manchester United. Coutinho needs to find a club that can help him finding his real ability on pitch. Liverpool has changed so much latest seasons so I don't know Coutinho can play well if he returns to Liverpool. Maybe Kloop and Liverpudians will give him warm welcome but only time and real matches can say how good he is for Liverpool.

I think it is really unfair for people to say all these things about Coutinho. Yes he could have stayed but he was young like you said and going up. If anyone asks me, a foreigner in England, if I would like to play at the club of my dreams,,, I would say yes no matter what. He achieved his dream. It did not work out for the club is all.

I agree with you. It's to late for him now to return in Liverpool. Liverpool have other great players now and don't need him. Coutinho has had a lot of chances so far with Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern but he didn't make good use of the opportunity. Hope he will reach top again in some other club.

Tottenham can be a good club for Coutinho but transfer fee is an issue. Tottenham has troubles with their taxes and I don't think Mourinho will have good transfer budget for the summer time. Coutinho has a play style looks good for Tottenham and Mourinho tactics. He does not dribble too much like other Brazillian players. In Premier League, I think only Tottenham can help Coutinho to find himself. Manchester United is so unstable and maybe Ole will lose his position at the end of this season.

Opinions are divided among EPL fans over this possible return of Coutinho to Liverpool. Only Jürgen Klopp has the last word once the conditions are met. If Coutinho achieves a perfect adaptation with the team it could be very positive for him and for everyone.

I doubt if Coutinho can move to Tottenham, like you said, the possibility of Tottenham not being able to pay for his transfer fees is quite large. If you see the latest news related to Coutinho, he is willing to reduce the amount of his salary in order to return to Liverpool. But the decision is in Klopp hands, we'll see whether Coutinho can return to Liverpool or not. Actually I as an Arsenal fan, I hope Coutinho can join Arsenal But seeing the Arsenal transfer policy, I was doubtful it could be realized.
