How long is the coin maturity time for POS?
As the block number is around 4000 - what impact has this had on the MN/Budget/mining(?) split?

PoS is not yet active. Please read the specifications on the OP.

Since the price of AMS is very low now, it is a good time to attract more people to buy in for a masternode. I think at this stage it's important to increase the amount of masternodes and people involved with this coin. I think a giveaway can help too.
at least one stable exchange is welcome to reach this goal. Let's hope the yobit problem gets sorted any time soon. Otherwise we should look out for another exchange.

Hi,
How is it possible to run on the same IP multiple masternodes?
I am sorry, but its not possible for security reasons. 84.162.242.84:50020 - 6 masternodes. How he managed to do this? I've seen that as well. This is unwanted I think those 5 extra on the same IP doesn't add anything to the network. Let me look. I think you have seen this in the old wallet? Pivx (our base) says that its not possible. No it's on the new wallet (check the masternode list and you will see) It's possible to manage more than one masternode. the 6 masternode are all from me and run on the same pc and ip and all is ok, all masternode works and earn. but why do you need 6 MN on 1 ip ? is it not better to sum them up and make 1 MN ? one masternode generate 6 AMS per hour maybe 7,5 AMS also with 6 masternodes i earn 36 AMS per hour. I use for every masternode another port. every wallet is a single wallet. is 6 MN limit ? per ip ? i think no but i have not more AMS to set up 7 masternodes But the list tells us you're running them all on port 50020 (same ip) I still don't get how you did this as all the MN's needs to be running on p2p port 50020? So how can you run them on one server? On the masternode itself you can't bind a port that is in use right? Right, but i set in .conf the port=anyport and run the wallet at the same ip but every wallet use another port for incomming and outgoing connections, thats all.

AHHHR yobit ..... My AMS parts are in transfer cold storage since 2 days. I make requests for support but no response from them. I hope that YOBIT will respond, I have 1 masternode at them and it is blocked in cold storage. Do you know the delay to unlock my AMS in Yobit?
It does work if you do multiple smaller withdrawals. i didnt have any problems with yobit, i even send it from yobit to the swap, perfectly happened .. so ive got new-AMS in my wallet Very bad for me too, I sent exactly 100k for masternode from yobit and got stuck on "Transfer from cold storage" status more than 12 hours now Yes I also regretted, I sent 105K, it is blocked in cold storage and no response from yobit for 48H. I may be too impatient but no answer from YOBIT is not reassuring. I will warn here if the situation is unblocked. I'm having the same since yesterday (16h) 75.000 (cold storage) & sold 120.000+ (too much risk keeping). Ticket created. This seems to have some similarity with the bank crisis. Hopefully the coins are still in stock... It's really disturbing that a lot of people are stuck in this situation. And the only people who are reacting are the people who are in that insecure situation. Kees de Wit is only talking about the technical stuff so far instead of showing empathy and offering solutions for this situation. This is also part of the swap procedure and owners of the AmsterdamCoin are having extreme difficulties with bringing their coins from Yobit to a fresh wallet. Seems impossible. There is something going on!! And I need to know what the total amount of AmsterdamCoins will be after the swap? Do we own the same percentage as before in proportion to the total amount of coins? I will try to solve the issue with Yobit. If I see an admin on Yobit I will ask and otherwise I will ask them when they contact me for the swap. The last thing I want is people that have their money frozen somewhere. I am a bit overpowered in this case by Yobit but I will do my best to get those people out of this condition. What I would love to see is a forum with happy people and lots of developments in crypto (AmsterdamCoin) related software. Yes Kees, it's a harmfull situation. I can imagine you feel overpowered, but there has to be a solution. If I count right within the earlier reactions close to a half million AmserdamCoins seem frozen with Yobit. Several people within the AMS community are duped and no reactions from their support so far. 3 days now and counting

I also want to start my masternode but I have 105K AMS blocked at YOBIT, when Yobit will unlock our money? No yobit support response. YObit is not serious Yobit does not care about any coins. Yobit only cares about trading fees. They are the roach motel of the crypto exchanges. 'Coins go in but they do not come out' Yobt lets coins in so they can make money on the trading fees. They do not care about the coin or any updates. (They have paid update options) They are just making making money on the fees when a new coin is being hyped. That is why all of the scammer like yobit. If you want to help the crypto world then stop using crappy scamming exchanges like Yobit that pander to the pump and dump scammer/coin creators.

Amsterdam coin wasn't available on Bittrex or Cryptopia at the time I wanted to buy it. If I would have that option at that time I would definitily made that desciscion. For now this is an insecure situation. Yobit had the opportunity to fix this and they still have. If yobit fixes it then I will post it. This is why it's so important for cryptocoins devs and community to invest in trustworthy exchanges.

How about setting up a Bitcoin or DOT address where people can donate for the cryptopia listing? Would that be an idea?
I already paid 0.5 BTC to Yobit for the swap so I hope some other community members can help funding the cryptopia listing.

I am willing to donate for the cryptopia listing. I think it's good to make a public list of donations and that users can send you a BTC return adddress with their donation TxId as well in case we don't reach the 1,5 BTC. What do others think about that?

Hi Dev, Thank you for paying 0.5btc to Yobit for the swap. If I understand correctly, when yobit has done the swap, we will find our pieces congealed. Thank you

who has an manual ( for a noob or dummy) how to install wallet on non-graphical linux wget https://github.com/CoinProjects/AmsterdamCoin-v4/releases/download/v4.0.0.0/amsterdamcoin-daemon-4.0.0.0-linux64.tar.gz tar zxvf amsterdamcoin-daemon-4.0.0.0-linux64.tar.gz ./amsterdamcoind
it will say you need to create a config file with rpc information. Copy the rpcuser= and rpcpassword lines. nano .amsterdamcoin/amsterdamcoin.conf and paste the rpc info into it. use <ctrl + o> to save and <ctrl +x> to exit ./amsterdamcoind & ./amsterdamcoin-cli getinfo (will show some general wallet info, like blockcount etc) ./amsterdamcoin-cli getaccountaddress 0 (will show your receive address)
ofcourse a lot more you can do. Just look up the normal bitcoin cli info.

Let me know if you can get it done, otherwise I will share a new bootstrap
