Hi kaltun,

I just created a fresh bootstrap (block 1185814) including a peers.dat. You can download it here: https://amsterdamcoin.com/bootstrap.zip

Please extract the zip archive in the data directory of the wallet. It should connect and sync like a rocket.

New website!

At the end of Q1 we will have our completely new wallet and blockchain ready for you to use. After that you can swap your coins via the swap service on Txbit Exchange. No account registration or KYC will be required to use the swap service on Txbit Exchange. It will be a fairly simple procedure where you enter your new address and an old address will be given to you to send your coins to. After 10 network confirmations the swap service will send the new coins to the given address.

In advance of the new wallet and blockchain we launched a brand-new website. On our website you can find more information about the swap from the old PIVX based wallet to our new Stratis based wallet.

The swap is planned for the end of Q1 2020
AmsterdamCoin will swap to a new wallet and blockchain that utilises modern technologies for a greater user experience and improved stability. The new code base has a greater range of possibilities and makes AmsterdamCoin future-proof. Detailed information about the swap will be provided on our new website and social channels such as Bitcointalk and Twitter. For a smooth and worry-free swap, we will be using the swap services on Txbit Exchange. No account registration or KYC will be required to use the swap service on Txbit Exchange. For users that are in the unfortunate state of having their coins locked-up inside Yobit exchange there will be a solution as well. The swap and to process to get the coins out of Yobit exchange will last for a period of 3 months.

AMS has a long journey already in crypto and great to hear that you have a new website.
But I noticed that the exchange where you are currently listed with is not familiar to many.
But if you are getting active response from this exchange as compared to Yobit, maybe a better choice after all.
However, later on, I hope you can introduce this old coin to others by listing it in more popular exchange.

The progress for AMS is coming along nicely, the new wallet is looking amazing and so does the new look website. I knew that if we just have some patience and wait it out that Kees would deliver. I'm looking forward to cold staking AMS just like I'm doing with Solaris at the moment. Great work Kees!

Gentlemen, we're back to the game.
Kess is one of the best coder, so I think AMS is in good hands.

So the issue related to payments via AMS is still valid ... Smiley

I have already said it before, I am very positively surprised by the functionality of TXBIT exchange.
It has a nice design, is very functional and fast.
We should support Kess and AMS by trading on this exchange.

I agree that txbit is a great exchange to trade on however I do also think that AMS can rely on just having one exchange to trade on. Right now this isn't needed however I do think that in the future there will need to be a few more exchanges for us to trade on and also to keep the CMC listing. AMS has been lucky to stay listed even though Yobit is on the wrong wallet and won't update it. Yobit in a way has helped AMS stay listed on CMC as they do require two exchanges.

Sometimes you lose connection or windows will update and wallet will be on its own chain, symptoms will be: you get all the stakes or your wallet will not sync. Check the block count in your wallet and here on https://amsterdamblockchain.info/ they have to be the same. If your wallet is on another block count then the explorer, you have to load in the last bootstrap.
Kees has made a bootstrap two weeks ago:  https://amsterdamcoin.com/bootstrap.zip
