Guys we have a new 64-bit wallet v1.61. This fixes the wallet crashing on startup, and also adds much nicer looking sidebar buttons. It is hosted on my site www.bitcoinlasvegas.net/files/FlyCoin-qt-v1.6.1-Win64.zip

I guess Linux users can do a git pull, and that will do it, right?

I can help you to restore/recover your wallet or password.

Thank you. I just thought the wallet needed to match the quality of the coin. There will be even more enhanced Hi res graphics added in the near future.

IMO, labels on sidebar buttons are hard to read. I'm sure they can be improved  Wink

The new wallet doesn't fix my problem either - both wallet.dat backups (10 days between them) just crash every version since.
You can see my address - FNUejQiTyuGpg21ibHjNaDf2soWvAVJQXY - hasn't generated any stake since the 23rd October, the same time I reported the problem in the thread,  and it has a balance of 256.626446 FLY with ZERO outbound transactions. I support FLY but can't even do the name claim as I can't access the wallet

Am I the only one struggling to open 1.4 backups in more recent versions?

Vegas and Presstab have been supportive (as always  Smiley) so it looks like I will have to take Presstab up on his kind offer to send him my wallet and see if he can get it open.

All i can say is I am new to Fly and have downloaded and installed version 1.5, 1.6, and 1.6.1 with no issues at all.  Now I run Windows 8.1 - not sure if that matters - i doubt it.  But wanted to disclose all.  Everything is running 100% smoothly.

Hey guys, just wanted to give a heads up. I got in contact with the people (person?) from the app blockfolio after realizing that flycoin wasn't an option on their list of coins.

Needless to say fly was successfully implemented into their application and you can now track your portfolio, fly included.

Great coin, great community and great app. I figured you all deserved to know  Smiley

Yes, your best bet is Presstab. Send him  your debug log as well as your wallet.dat . I will also gladly try for you too. Just need your wallet.dat . You can email it to info@bitcoinlasvegas.net. I will need your password to do a dumpprivkey on it. I can also use teamviewer if your not comfortible with giving me your password. Just email me.

Well, I just compiled from presstab's github and everything was very smoothly. No problems at all. (I'm using Ubuntu 15.04)

It shows version: v1.6.1.0.

I can help you to restore/recover your wallet or password.

It may be because you are the one that has hit a superblock and something about that superblock is causing the application to crash. Has anyone else hit a superblock and had problems with v1.6.1?

Where the hell did that 9BTC dump come from?

I thought the top 19 were accounted for on the richlist and thought they were only allowed to sell their stake and not dump their discounted coins?

There was a user that dumped that did NOT get any discounted coins, that purchased with their own money.

My long version of Vegas' post:

A great question which will take a bit of detective work to answer.

1st - Only those who have purchased directly from Vegas have agreed, as a requirement of the
purchase, not to sell any of their purchase. They are listed in the Ann. Additionally, team members,
like myself, have voluntarily agreed not to sell our initial coins from the swap or, the
purchases we have made from yobit. There are 11 team members in the top 19 who
have made the agreement not to sell Swapped/Purchased coins.

The agreement, as stated in the ann, allows sale of POS stakes. To my knowledge -
no team members are selling POS which goes into a separate POS only address via
the Savings feature of the wallet. (Selling POS would not account for the dumped coins).

The other 8 claimed addresses in the top 19, due to purchases or coins from the original swap,
are not bound by an agreement They have not given their word to not sell. An initial look at the top
19 shows 1 person moving a lot of 2,000 coins a few days ago. He did not buy from Vegas directly
and while invited into the team, he decided that team restrictions were not for him and is not part
of the team. Vegas has been unable to change the Ann yet removing his name.

Previously, there was up to 2000 coins listed for sale on Yobit plus the 2,000 moved. Currently,
only about 1,000 coins are available on Yobit. This means the market absorbed the dump plus
1,000 more coins. The price got knocked down to .0017 but has alredy recovered to
.0025. I see that as positive.

One thing I feel important to note is that the top 19 are excited about the coin enough to claim their addresses.
I encourage more from 20 on down to do the same. And, I hope we can add more team members to assist with
the future developments being discussed by the team.

Since the coin is still very young, there will be those interested in the quick profit, selling now at what will one day
be considered a low price. The goals and commitment of the FLY team are long term and unchanged. We have much
work planned and are only at the beginning.

Sorry for the book here.

Losing my patience with YObit listed coins.

Hope you find another exchange, I am focusing more on other exchanges.  Too many disappointments on YOBit, meaning, there are lots of coins listed, but not a lot worth trading.

3 scam coins in the last week...  This has to get undercontrol somehow.  Problem is not the exchanges in large, it's the people still hoping for the big payout on new coins.

Not implying FLY is in the same group, but still waiting for a raodmap and business plan for this coin, other than a 'feel good' coin.  You need a plan to seperate yourself from the collection of pointless coins.

What will add value to the future of the coin when 95% of the coin is sitting on PoS?

Could not agree more... Yobit is the home of scam coins. Hardly confidence/trust building that Yobit is the only exchange for FLY.

I agree. A more respected exchange would be better. We dont have enough average vol for bittrex, cryptsy is very unstable and polo is run by bots. Im open to suggestions guys.
