Espanyol who were leading Las Palmas by 2-0 in the first half were very lucky to leave the Gran Canaria with a point as the game ended by 2-2 and they were very lucky when Jonathan Viera missed a glorious penalty in the 95th minute which would have given Las Palmas all three points but Paul Lopez made a wonderful to deny them all points.

Barcelona is getting away from the pursuit of its competitors to win the La Liga title this season as well as Manchester City in the Premier League. The distance of 6 points from the team who are in the 2nd position standings is not yet said to be safe. But Barcelona can at least be quiet because rivals Real Madrid are no longer able to pursue them at the top of the standings as long as Barcelona can continue to play consistently in every game.

It's disgraceful. Spanish referees is something awful. Ok, there will be VAR system in next season, but why they can't have referees behind the goal line like in previous Champions league seasons? Maybe it would help to avoid such stolen goals.
I also remind that in previos season, such stolen goal in match between Barca and Betis was crucial in fight for championship title. This season when Barca lost points against Valencia, it also can be very important in the end of season.

Barcelona is winning essential 3 points that just consolidated and extended the lead to 11 points on the top of the table over Real Madrid before heading into El Classico and having being filled up with a lot of positivity. Barca could increase the lead to 14 points with a win over Real Madrid and that also possibly could see Real Madrid on the edge of out of title race.

Its a really bad day for Messi. He just unlucky, three crossbars and 1 saved a penalty.

I completely agree. The judge did not count Suarez's clean goal. I think that this episode, like other similar ones, should make a decision in favor of video replay in La Liga.

But in their last 4 games Betis lost 3 and draw in one , and Malaga  in their last 4 games they won 2 draw in one and lost one game. Well EReal Betis had other ideas tonight and they managed to win by a 2-0 Cushion away from home and broke their own win-less record in recent times. Malaga looks like they might be exiting La liga this season but lets wait and see what might turn out.

It's long overdue and the earlier they implement the VAR in La liga the better because we can't just get cheated any time with the  clean goals we score. Fifa said his game is fair play and  what are we practising in spain? Beach soccer rules?

Barcelona played fantastic in half of this season because they are taking advantage of a decline in performance from rivals Real Madrid so there is no pressure whatsoever to Barcelona. I'm not too interested anymore to observe La Liga because the competition has been dominated by Barcelona.

Bilbao lost that crazy game @ Zilina so I guess Barcelona will be able to catch them by surprise now with at least a minimal win.

I'm sure that the whole fight in La Liga is still ahead. All teams lose points during the season. I would not write off both Real Madrid and Atletico. There is also Valencia, which shows a pretty game this season.

Today we will see Levante taking on Leganes at home in the spanish la liga, both of these teams are struggling to climb the table at the moment, and a loss in this match could result in either team sinking deeper into the bottom of the table, so there is a high chance this match will likely end in a draw.

With the El classico looming it's interesting to see if barca can beat Madrid and all but shall the departure of Zidane, he's actually won twice champion league, 5 trophies in a year but he's about to receive the famous Perez Axe. Tonight game between two teams that really are playing bad, don't think it will be more than a draw, but let's see how the first half goes. I feel Barca is very close to winning the title unless Madrid defeats them in El classico and win all reaming matches.

I don't think they'll win because their home record looks bad recently 3 losses and 2 draws the last time they won at home was 3 months ago. I'll take my chances with Leganes ml and draw. Also the under seems to be a good play too.
