La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17

Eibar and Barcelona will be playing each other tomorrow. The hosts are dreaming to reach a spot in the European Competition they are gonna try to take advantage of Barcelona playing in Championsleague after also they are not at their best form with two league draws in row but the Catalan team do not like how Atletico Madrid getting much closer to them threatening their chances to win the league as Madrid managed to reduce the distance to 7 points so there’s no room for another slip-up. Barcelona should have a comfortable situation with the squad as only Vermaelen is a doubt I expect an open game with goals so better go for over 2.5 goals.

The very clear distinction between the two teams that will compete. I think with the quality of Barcelona's current squad will easily be able to beat Eibar and bring home the full points to keep a distance with the teams who want to overtake them at the top of the standings. I will place a bet that this match will end up with a score of more than 3 goals.

Barcelona has been in fine form in their past five games where I have watched them and winning against Eibar will be easily accomplished if they have Messi in the starting line-up for sure.
I have seen Eibar playing as well and will say they are just not performing and will not be able to hold off Lionel and company that day.

But seeing the last game going draw, it is tough call to go for over 2.5 goals and Eibar playing in their home ground so it is safe bet to go for both team to goal.

I really doubt that we are going to see goals over 2.5 in this game since at the moment, because Barcelona at the 56th minutes have had just a total of two shots on target the same as Eibar and even Eibar has more shots off target than Barcelona, It may end in a draw eventually.

Not really, the game was won and Eibar wouldn't have made any serious threats on goal to snatch the draw - poor finishing let them down on the night. It would still have ended 1-0 at least. The red card was evidence enough that Barca were on the front foot. Definitely helpful to get the win ahead of Champions League in London, Luis Suarez dependable as always when others don't show up with the goods (thanks of course to Messi's clinical pass).

What they'll be worrying about is Athleti closing in. They already got their Europa game out of the way with a solid first leg. Hoping the underdogs keep the chase up, the bonus of finishing high above Real is another incentive to me.

Betis are in fine shape after two back to backs wins now they are ranked 9th place in La Liga with 33 points they have a chance to finish in a European spot a win will get them to 7th place unfortunately it's going to be against Real Madrid the visitors are fourth and have 3 points more then Sevilla but they are two games Short from them and after Their big win against PSG they are gonna focus on the league for now on because the return game against PSG will be played more then 2 weeks from now I expect from this game to be open one as both teams are offensive and Madrid lost an important player Kroos for two weeks so I expect to have over 3.5 goals.

Barcelona are getting closer to the La Liga title this season after they beat Eibar 0-2. It's hard to stop Barcelona getting the title this season as Real Madrid's toughest rivals are not able to perform well in every game of the season especially now that their rivals are just focusing on UCL matches as the chance to get the La Liga trophy this season is gone. However, rivals from Barcelona still have a chance to fight 2nd place in the final standings later.

Tonis Kroos is said to be injured and out for a period of three weeks. But with the head to head against the two sides, There has been more than three goals scored in their last six out of eight games and Real Madrid are with a clean sheet in their last four games.

But this has been the problem with Real Madrid all this time, focus.
They lack this and this is the only reason why Barcelona always seem to leap frog them but then they learn from their lack in concentration and end up winning in the end.
This has been the Real Madrid way it seems.

Deportivo will face Espanyol tomorrow. Thehosts have been in an awful form losing 7 from last 9 games across all competitions they have big problems when it comes defending that is why they are one place above bottom while in the last games are showing also problems in attack as didn't score in 3 games in row while the visitors Espanyol are not that good team but they are definitely in much better situation then Deportivo getting positive results in various diffecult matches that is why I favore them for the three points but the Espanyol is not that good in visits that is why I think we more likely to see a draw or few goals scored so under 2.5 goals is my betting tip.

Yes i agree with you that in recent two weeks we have seen the old Madrid back, but i feel its to little to late. 14 points is a huge difference considering that the end of the league is amost here. I beleive they can win the champions league if they show this grit and intensity back on the match day.

I do hope Zidane keeps his ego aside and plays a good team Benzema needs to leave and not play at all this season.
