If Valencia claim a win against Bilbao tonight, they'll slip to fourth. And with only a 7-point cushion between that and Europa League spots, you've got to wonder if we might not see them in Champs League next season.

There are 12 games left in the LaLiga, and judging from how poor Real madrid's performance has been this season, I can totally see them fighting for the last Champions League spot against Valencia and Villareal.

About the game yesterday, RM should've played with the usual line-up, but I guess they wanted to rest the key players since CL is the priority for the club right now, but I think they could've had at least Modric and Ronaldo on the bench in case things.

I'm not sure how to view this fifth league loss... the first couple or so felt like shocks but it seems now they're so vulnerable that every game feels like a potential pitfall.

Yeah, it seems that there are no easy opponents for Real currently. It reminds me Barca few years ago under management of Tata Martino. Then Barca in second part of season were often loosing or playing draw even with bottom table teams. But one little difference - then they had chances to win a trophy until last game with Atletico.
But still, Real still have great chances to win Champions league. They have 2 goals advantage against PSG, Neymar will miss 2nd leg match. I'm not sure why, but Real playing much better in Champions league than in La Liga all season long.

When Real Madrid failed to win, Barcelona even play draw with Las Palmas. Winning one goal in the first half, but even conceded a goal in the second half and could not score again. If the performance is inconsistent there again in the next week, the La Liga title could be threatened taken by another team, taken by Atletico Madrid. About todays game - Barca played so bad tonight, Las Palmas played similar like always and they deserved to get a point.
But there was bunch of questionable decisions by referee. First - awarded free kick when Messi scored goal. Well, I didn't saw foul against Messi there. Then, Las Palmas goalkeeper touched ball with hand outside the box but no reaction from referee. And last - penalty. Still, I can't understand why referee decided to give penalty, is it Vermaelen fouled or Digne touched ball with hand? Anyway, I don't see serious reasons to give this penalty.
Atletico are playing amazing right now while Barca have some difficulties. Yeah, it will be almost a final, can't wait to watch this match.

I didn't expected this performance from Barcelona, they got many chances but couldn't executed.Even Suarez missed a goal from point blank position. I have also problems with referee.I don't understand the meaning of penalty.I don't think Las Pal mas deserve the penalty although they played really well.Next match is very important for Barcelona, I wish they will come back strongly against Atletico Madrid.

Athletico has won 6 times consecutively in laliga so it wouldnt be hard for them to win their next game IF it is against the other team. It is against barcelona and it is going to be hard for them. Las palmas was using hardcore defensive strategy, thats the reason they managed to pull draw with barcelona but unlikely athletico going to use the same strategy

Well, well, Barca slips and even I'm tempted to think Athleti can go from severe underdog to dark horse. It would be a season to relish in Italy and Spain if we see things continue the way they are. Would be awesome for my El Nino to win this last honour before finally retiring. But ciccio's right. It's more likely that they'll keep this 5 point lead (unless Torres and co never slip up either). 7 more games to break the unbeaten streak record by Sociedad, and I know Barca are hungry for that.

Sevilla is still looking to finish in top 4 they are currently 5th in the table and 8 points away from 4rth place Valencia with 12 rounds still to be played their chances are still good. They are good when they play at home but last game was strange one as they list 5-2 to Atletico but managed to win the derby against Malaga this midweek away from home and for the game against Athletico Bilbao I think a home win will be expected from this clash Bilbao is not doing that well this season and it's somehow a big disappointing and they are not going to playing with their main striker Aduriz so Sevilla to win is my tip.
