For the competition for the LALIGA championship, it is difficult for Real Madrid to serve Barcelona if they don't immediately find Ronaldo's replacement, and also the Zidane departure will have an impact on the team's mentality. Inside the zidane there is a champion DNA, the world becomes a witness when the Zidane is able to win the UEFA champions league three times in a row.

Spanish football season started today - Supercup game was played, Barca won against Sevilla 2:1. Dembele had great match tonigh and scored amazing goal, I hope that this season will be much better than previous for him. Sevilla had chance to equalize score in 91th minute, but Ben Yedder made terrible penalty shot. It was first match in Spain where VAR was used, it will be also used in upcoming season. I made La Liga prediction pool group, feel free to join: https://www.superbru.com/laliga/pool.php?p=11920123 It's just for fun, no money involved because I'm not sure that we can get enough players.

Congrats for Barcelona on Winning their 13th super cup title now they have three more then Real Madrid this match saw Sevilla playing quite well actually they created a lot of chances and they but some mistakes from the midfield cost them to lose the game Jesus Navas made a lot of preoblems for Alba while in Barcelona side Messi shined the most with an assist and 7 chances that created Dembele was lost for the 2third of the game many waisted passes he gave but in the final third he woke up and scoring the winner goal other player that clearly underperformed was Luis Suarez he contribute nothing to the team and if he continues like this many of the youngsters will be aiming to take his spot Stegen also contributed for the win with that penaly he saved for Ben Yedder but it was him who committed the fault in the beginning overall solid performance from both sides to start te season.

Barcelona were always the favourites to lift the cup, and it's stark coincidence that Real Madrid has won three Champions League in a row and Barcelona have three more super cup than them. I believe for all Barcelona fans, the form of Dembele was a treat, especially after last season injuries and poor form, he's finally settling in. We'll all know with Iniesta gone, there's always going to be more pressure on Messi, and he came out blazing last night. I'll also agree that Squarez played with little or no interest, he seems to think he's an untouchable in the team, but few more performances like this and he'll be on the bench. If this is the trailer for the Spanish league then, I'm sure all are very excited like me who's going to dominate now, with Ronaldo gone, Barcelona are the clear favourites.

Barcelona will be happy but like you point out, it is the Champions League that they really want to beat Real in. Honestly, I thought Sevilla had a small chance, especially when they got the early goal, but as usual the champions find something inside them. No Messi goals but he did assist the winning goal, so you know he is hungry for success. No more Ronaldo, I feel the La Liga is less exciting now, but there are new stars to fill the space. Gareth Bale is all unchallenged as the "star" of Real Madrid. I really want Athletico Madrid to push, but they gave everything last season and still couldn't really force Barcelona to sweat. Let us see however.

after super Real Madrid surely will go back to the transfert window and the players they need are 1 - The outspoken striker with the near end of the transfer market is decreasing prospects but remain Icardi or Lewa, who expressed in the desire to leave the best solutions also Mariano Diaz remains a solution even if temporary 2 - Defender The match showed yesterday that Real need a good defender either to be a basic or at least makes the status of Varan or Ramos threatened in the case of falling level here is a real problem in the absence of players easy to contract with them, even in the form of loan 3 - left back after the departure of Theo Hernandez there is not any an alternative to Marcelo in case of injury or decline of the level of who will compensate 4 - The player is pivotal after the departure of Kovacic, but only Cebabos Real need another player to stay the best prospects either Tiago Alcantara or Milonkovic 5 - A substitute player who is an alternative to Casemero It is clear clearly that Luigi does not trust and does not count on Marcos Llorente.

Indeed Barcelona are feeling the heat, you can sense their mood they want Champions League glory and signing of Vidal is a statement of Intent, it'll be interesting if they're able to sign Pogba. Real Madrid cup defeat has already set the tone for them, without Ronaldo they no longer are a threat they once used to be, it'll be interesting if Bale finally stands up and guides his team to glory. Yes Athletico Madrid failed last year, but remember now they got Costa too, he's had a full pre season and grizeman is staying so I would consider them serious title contenders.

They want it every year because as of now their current competitor is Real Madrid and Real Madrid has won it three times in a row. They will keep on falling into the shadow of Real Madrid if they dont do something about it. THis season will be a nice chance for them to get it because Ronaldo is not on Real Madrid anymore, a perfect time for them to triumph Real Madrid

Today we have Celta Vigo against Espanyol and Villareal vs Sociedad both difficult games to predict. Seeing the games of yesterday where the teams played mostly defensively rather than playing openly it seems that they are interested more to get a point as a minimum than to fight for the three points and risk to get 0.
I will bet on both these games under 2.5 goals.

I usually do not like the under 2.5 goals bet, I feel it just too risky. Red Cards can happen and the bet will be lost. The teams may just decide play an open game. I think we are going to see goals today.

Yes, Barcelona cannot feel satisfied simply by winning the domestic league and cup all the time,,, they must really be so thirsty for Champions League and Messi especially after doing so poorly in World Cup with Argentina he wants to give it all of his strength this season. But they cannot forever expect Messi to carry them so Vidal is a great addition but they need more. Anyway yes, Real now are in decline. And Messi showed with 2 goals against a stubborn team, he still will be there to be feared. If you are right and Costa and Athletico make it, I will be happy too. Spanish league.

Low number of spectators wasn't caused by departure of Ronaldo. There was only 50k spectators in Barca match. Both matches started very late in evening, it ended 00:15 AM in local time when there are no public transport available, also both teams played against not most powerful opponents. This is why many people decided not to go to the match. I don't think that Neymar would be great replacement for Ronaldo, but anyway, Real stated that they won't buy Neymar. It seems that Perez wont find replacement for Ronaldo until the end of this transfer window.

I just read this news it seems to me that Real Madrid never had any intention of swooping down for Hazard, back in their minds they only had Neymar. In a small world of football, this news would have been heard by Real Madrid representatives, and that's why they decided to allow Ronaldo to move on. I have a gut feeling which says, UEFA will penalise PSG and Neymar shall end up in Madrid, it'll be a master stroke, the only question is at what price will PSG agree to sell, and what happens of Bale being Real Madrids main man?

Well, according to the news sources I read, not only was this the record number of below 50k for many years, but the last time it was below 50k, was the season before Ronaldo joined Real Madrid too. I mean, sure, it's a bit of a coincidence for sure, and I know plenty of Real Madrid fans who actually never talked about Ronaldo himself and loved others much more. But no please. They don't need Neymar or Hazard. Remember the panic people were having about Barcelona last season after they sold Neymar? Or Liverpool after they sold Coutinho? Both teams did really well without their key players. If not even better. I mean, actually Coutinho has made Barca's game different.

Unlike Messi and Ronaldo, Neymar nearly has smaller impact compared with the other two to their club. The only impression that I got from Neymar was his amazing diving and nothing more but Ronaldo was the key player that actually made Real Madrid won the champions league 3 times in a row . So it could be different for Real Madrid this season

Tomorrow Girona hosts Real Madrid in one pretty interesting match. Real's players must have bad memory after last year's defeat on this very stadium.
Personally, I think this Real can't compete for title if it stays like this. Simply, they need a leader such as Ronaldo to play at top class. I really hope they will make some big purchase (such as Mbape or Hazard) till the transfer window ends.

In the local league they could still have the chance if only they dont suffer from losing against small teams. It just matter of getting higher points in the league so they still have the chance but in the champions league against all those top team, they are not really getting any chance at all. This might be the season that Real Madrid dont win the champions league

Well, their main rivals won last night so yeah the pressure is on very early. Barcelona had a typical night, not really playing well but still managing to win 0-1 away with nothing exciting happening. Athletico's Griezmann seems to still be doing his normal stuff too also scoring the single goal to get their precious points. All teams have their ups and downs and perhaps this is the beginning of a downturn for the Real Madrid empire. Lost two icons. But everything is still too early to day.
