Espanyol does have a chance to get into the top 4 spots on the table in the Spanish La Liga league this season but the chances of achieving that is just extremely low, Espanyol will be taking on Athletic Bilbao today but this might be a tough match as Athletic Bilbao have managed to draw 7 games out of 10 matches played, so I believe the players of Espanyol would have to put in a lot of effort if they want to claim a victory against Athletic Bilbao.

Seriously they haven't realized the team was doing so bad until now ? At least el Classico has that type of importance on peoples minds, they make things happen a lot faster. 5-1 is not a score to joke about, that is even without Messi but does this put any shadow on Messi's input on the team? We saw that without Ronaldo the team crumbles into nothingness and without Messi Barcelona is still Barcelona, do we start to think Ronaldo was better all along but Messi just played on the better team ?

I honestly don't think so because real Madrid at its current state is different from the time Ronaldo played and also the management is doing horrible (obvious from firing) which means real Madrid is much worse than how it was for the past 3 years even if Ronaldo was here.

barcelona without messi still has great players at expensive prices like coutinho, there is also suarez who is still sharp and rakitic who is still stable. for madrid? even bale did not show good progress after expensive purchases. since 2015, Bale did not contribute fully to Madrid's performance. Benzema has also lost its sharpness. then only Ronaldo was able to lift the team's performance thanks to the stability of its performance. arguably Madrid only have a few players who are still stable, while Barcelona has many players whose performance is still stable beyond the figure of Messi. Real Madrid is not a team that has any lack of funds to improve neither, they could get the best coach and pay them handsomely and get new players and all that, they are capable of paying the most money compared to any other team in the whole world. I don't really know where all that money comes from honestly but they have been known to pay a lot of money for people.

However, seeing how Ronaldo is still playing amazingly for Juventus I tend to think someone with Ronaldo's condition maybe could have been kept for a little longer, even until retirement, I was one of the people who said they got rid of Ronaldo's contract at the right time both not having to pay him but also getting money in return which could be used for younger good players but I have seen them do nothing major so far. Real Madrid president made the grave error of losing Ronaldo and Zidane in one go, then he even didn't bother getting Hazard or Neymar to help the new coach settle in. Real Madrid should have dumped Bale and Benzema and retained Ronaldo and Zidane, Bale is struggling due to his injuries, and Benzema is no longer feared anymore.

I expect them to add one or two players in January and spend heavily in the summer transfer market either Hazard or Neymar one of them is coming I'm preety confident on it.

Real Madrid looks like losing the leader in front. on behind, them they still have sergio ramos, but in front of them they only have benzema and bale that can never lift the overall performance of the team. you're right if madrid have to change coaches also to restore their mental playing, but buying Ronaldo substitute is also very important. for example hazard that has good experience in Europe.

The president didn't want Zidane to go, but Florentino Perez had no choice but to accept Zizou's wishes (the guy was probably too stressed out to keep being the manager of such a demanding club). Also, Florentino Perez was the one who didn't want C.Ronaldo on the team because of all the scandals surrounding him, so it's not like Florentino made a mistake selling him, it was all planned.

When Lopetegui arrived he tried to change the style of play that gave us three Champions League in a row, Solari on the other hand, understands that you don't need to change anything, you don't need to "teach" these extraordinary football players any new tactics or systems, as long as they know what to do on the pitch, you just give them some advices and that's it.

I'm interested in knowing if Solari will ask for some players in the next transfer window, though we all know that the one who control the transfers of the club isn't the manager but the president, Florentino Perez.

Yes indeed it is 24 not 34 and it's my bad does not see it properly and seem 34 is goals amount of Barcelona and not their point at the table however most of Madrid fans will expect more for Solari but unlike manage other teams being the manager of Madrid is very difficult task and i'm pretty sure the pressure will very high because only the trophy can save them from sacked

Solari has been with Real Madrid for quiet a while he understands that these are not your average players, and they don't need to be taught everything and that's why he succeeded. I was skeptical when he was appointed, but the results speak for itself it's like Real Madrid have found their momentum back. When it come to players Real Madrid badly needs some, but I feel he'll only get if Real Madrid has a chance to win Champions League again.

Eibar is leading against Real Madrid 3:0 at 55 minute and I would say it's deserved result. Real looks poor again.
And today there is very interesting match between Atletico and Barcelona for the 1st place in La Liga. Both teams aren't playing very stable and already wasted lot of points against bottom table teams.
And yesterday on of the league leaders Alaves lost to Leganes who are near to relegation zone.
For me it's one of the most interesting La Liga seasons in 10 years!
