True, if Madrid is to go back to the past glory. They have to spend massively. They have to go full mode on their Galactico style of buying players because their most decent recent Galactico star is no longer there, and he was bought roughly 10 years ago.
Modric, Marcelo and Kroos got fine with aged, but they have now aged too.

Bale doesn't feel like a Galactico to me... so much time in hospital  for my liking;D

Well but I am not really surprised about the outcome of the Madrid, ziadany as we know that time both teams did not play to the proper extreme of their best, day by day gambling for team is getting a little difficult they are already almost 10 point behind from each, but if it will be a draw even then it will not be a bad result at the end.

Haha, not gonna happen. The club president choose to make profits instead of doing every way possible to keep Ronaldo at Real Madrid, which was a very selfish and arrogant decision IMO. You don't let legends go just like that.

Bale hasn’t always been great at Real but he has definitely repaid his transfer value. He scored vs Atleti (effectively the winner) in the CL Final vs Atleti, he scored his penalty in the shootout in the other CL Final & then he also scored 2 vs Liverpool in last yesrs CL Final.

That is a major impact on Real’s success. Without him they wouldn’t have won 3 in a row.

Real Madrid needs a thoroughly renovation I think, players are not that highly motivated anymore at least this is my perception.

Real Madrid needs to regain that winning mentality and the feeling of being superior which has always characterized them otherwise they will have a hard time trying to fight against Barcelona for the upcoming few years.

So the new coach Zidane's second match will be Against Huesca, clearly a small team in LaLiga & it will be easy for Madrid to win and climb upto second position on leage table though ATM would be playing 1 less match from Madrid.But every game is important for Real madrid now because somehow Zidane's target would be second position to qualify for Spanish Cup Against Barcelona/Valencia.

As a fan, I seriously don't care if we finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th, it's all the same: finishing behind the leader. At this point I just want the team to secure the CL spot and then start preparing for the next season.

La Liga is coming back tomorrow, but there'll be some good games during the weekend like Celta vs Villareal, Alaves vs Atletico, and Sevilla vs Valencia, the latter is actually a key game for both teams since they're fighting for the last Europa League spot in the league table. I'll probably parlay a few teams to win, I'm gonna include Getafe for sure, I'm rooting for them to qualify to the next Champions League (:

Never underestimate small teams especially towards the end of season... Mostly the relegation threatened ones. Huesca is at the bottom of the league table and have a chance of getting out of that zone if they started winning their much so would surprise me if they put up a fight.

Hey I feel Zidane and Real Madrid should not get carried away just because they’re up against Huesca, I feel small teams tend to cause upsets if big teams play with over confidence. I think you’re right finishing second guarantees them a spot in the champions league, and also a chance to fight for another silverware. Also it’s really difficult to predict how the season will end for Real Madrid, as Zidane will be rotating his squad to see who he needs to keep and who he decides to let go.
