Yes I'm holding it indirectly for a price increase, I think the halving will surely let the price increase.
Due to this fact I'm holding my bitcoins till at least the end of this year for sure.

who is not?

But wait,
I do not have enough yet.   Cheesy
yeah im buying as much bitcoins as possible at the moment too, i think that its a really good decision to do that at the moment and we will surely make some good money out of that

i think that people shouldnt sell any of their coins during this year because the price surely has the potential to reach the new heights in my opinion, though anything might happen

Nothing is permanent, change is constant. So the upward and downward movements of bitcoins price is a natural process. Likely, it is beautiful to see that its value is increasing but don't expext too much. It will not double instantly maybe just slowly. You better watch out always and make the right move.

A sudden jolt in price is good for the traders. They can earn a lot of they caugh it right. But for us, a steady pace upwards is a good movement. As long as it  stay up when it goes up, it is good.

I don't believe the next event (halving) will have as large an effect on bitcoin's price as is anticipated, so I'm neither holding, nor dumping.  I am prepared to take advantage of any type of volatility attributed to the event, however.  I will sell on spikes and buy on dips!  Other than that....I treat my script like any other form of currency.

I want it to increase and stay there not like a sudden but temporary increase. The increase should be permanent

yes i agree with you. I do holding and waited for bitcoin prices rose. then I sell it and get a big profit. I just need capital and patience to do this.
hold not as easy as people think dude you need a little patience to hold bitcoin and then you also have to choose the right time to sell bitcoin. if you're wrong time in selling bitcoin.
surely possible prices continue to rise and you actually lose?
There's two types of holding, really. You either hold and wait for a bubble to come by, then dump your coins and wait to profit (which may be a bad mistake because the bubble could be a permanent change)

or... you hold for when bitcoin goes mainstream, and then you can use it directly. The people who say they will sell when they are expecting bitcoin to go up to tens of thousands of dollars have the wrong mind of thinking. Why sell when bitcoin's so popular? Why even bother when you can just use bitcoins for your goods?

I'm one of the former. I might be making a fool of myself for participating in bitcoin and being ready to sell at any time, but the truth is that I, like many of you here, am scared of bitcoin falling apart. Otherwise, I would just invest all my money into bitcoins and forget about everything else and wait for the money to flow to my pockets.

The same as somebody who purchased $500 worth of bitcoins 3 years back are holding one miilion worth bitcoins right now. This could happen with bitcoin in next 5 yeasr as well, who knows. So, holding bitccoin for our future is the better idea. At this time I am aiming to earn more bitcoins, planning on these bitcoins to sell may be done after i need them for some thing.

Right now, holding bitcoin is the most logical choice for me, since there are not a lot of merchants that accept it from where I come from. Also, I always look at the price, and wait for price dips, so I could buy even some at a discounted price.

This is one of the best thing to do while waiting for halving to happen. Buying bitcoin when its price dips down is a better way to earn bitcoin by investing on it.

Just always monitor the price so that you are aware of whats happening.

I don't get it why people are suggesting to sell bitcoins now? Do they really know what will happen for the next months and this coming halving. That it has a chance to rise the price of bitcoin then that is the best time to sell.

Some want to sell now because they got them for cheap and might need the money for another investment, who knows. But if you have enough to spare too sell then why not?

Just always monitor the price so that you are aware of whats happening.
That is right. But if you have nothing to invest then just earn it here. You can possibly earn one bitcoin after halving. Earning and holding it is the best way to get profits from your profits.

Well some of it they sell because maybe the urgently need it. Jusy like mine, I sell some of my coins because i need for my investments to grow it more. Or others because they use bitcoin as a form of living.

That is the best idea. We don't only earn by buying bitcoin and wait for the price hike but we can also earn using our skills and hardwork and with that we can have pure profits without investment.

I am probably going to sell now since the price has risen by quite a lot in just 5-8 hours since the last time I check preev.com  Shocked

May is looking up if you have some bitcoin stash away somewhere  Wink
I think the price is not currently classified as a high price. you should be more patient
at least until halving come. it might be more profitable
