I don't need the money right now. The coins in my cold wallets will most likely never leave their wallets if the price isn't anything over a few $K. If I need to purchase something I simply sell some BTC and then spend it on whatever I like.

if you're just holding 0.05, it is better to trade altcoins, you can get more profit. perhaps halving occurs when you already have 0.1, so the profits are over, not only 0.01 |

Ive been holding for over 3 months and Im not going to let go yet, I still feel that Bitcoins will continue to climb and rise to $600. Its just surprising that lately climb begins before we hit the weekend unlike before climb starts on a weekday.
$600 is not hard now for the bitcoin to reach, It will be achieved with in a day, I am waiting for the price to reach $1000 and at halving more than that, and I have believe that the price will increase more than $1000 in this month. |

I think most people here would be holding on to at least a small amount of bitcoins, especially now considering halving is just around the corner.
yes considering holding bitcoin is the reason all dare not to sell bitcoin at low prices but not include me because I am sure the price will fall down in shortly. "it's always happen in the market." |

If you are thinking to hold it for long term then its risky because bitcoin is new market. It's price is high now but you can't rely on it.

Bitcoin launched in 2009, that means it is far from a new market and your second statement is false too. Holding for a longer term is what makes assets more profitable. The same applies for bitcoin. |

I do see the price going higher to at least 800 within 1 year. Which is why I am holding now. Selling now and hoping to buy back lower is very risky. I've tried that a few times without luck. So holding for now. |

I have also been holding my coins without selling anything so far. My first selling price will be $600 as that for me is a great price level to secure some profits at. I will probably unload 10-15% of my coins at that price level. |

I have also been holding my coins without selling anything so far. My first selling price will be $600 as that for me is a great price level to secure some profits at. I will probably unload 10-15% of my coins at that price level. The stragey should be that we sell when price is high and wisely again wait for price to be low to buy and increase your coins quantity. The goal here is to increase your hold coins (while the price is low). |

Lol halving will not regenerate your bitcoin. if you want to grow your bitcoin. you need to invest bitcoin profiles on investment, hold bitcoin will not make you grow the number of bitcoin |

It almost hit 600$, maybe next try it will go past it. I am holding still and wait next weekend if it will break the 600$. If it does there might be no stopping it from rising. I hope this continues amd break past 800 level which is my goal before I convert to fiat. |

So are you holding your bitcoins for future events such as halving or you more like to spend your bitcoins when you get it? I personally like to spend it for digital goods usually...
I holding for the price of bitcoin is an increase. I have the same statement,i like to spend all of my bitcoin become a digital goods.... maybe some btc i want to spend this on jewelry or gold for investment. the bitcoin price for now i think it's pretty good rate. |
