What is wrong with Napoli, from first in last three matches to fourth now, the margin with inter is gradually getting far.

currently Cagliari are relegation candidates in 17 matches they only got one win so they can't do anything against Inter. BTW the standings are getting tougher between Inter, Milan and Atalanta.

I can not say Cagliari is a relegating candidate because of how the league is for now. Salernitana has the lowest point and likely will relegate this season but Spezia is not that encourage too and is the fourth on the last list. All the four clubs on the last list are not encouraging at all and any of them can relegate. Any of the club can pick up to leave relegation, Cagliari might pick up. But it can also be what you said.

This season has suddenly got exciting. Napoli who absolutely crushed Lazio by 4 goals to nil,,, finally lost to a weaker team while Lazio also showed again how weak they can be away from home and Inter now forgot how to miss Lukaku and others.

And while all of this happens,,, of course Juventus fail to take full advantage with their own bad result.

And yet I still cannot take myself to bet against Juve,,, has anyone here made money from them?

I think you mean Napoli? Since they are fluctuating as usual and dropping in the first occasion. But if you mean Inter, I believe this team could take again the scudetto. The other top teams aren't that stable although they should still be considered as a threat. Close gap between those teams made Serie A more interesting to follow

I meant Inter, as I said 2 months ago we needed to wait for December to see the real strength of Napoli and now we see they start losing points.
Meanwhile, Inter improved under the new coach and they started to win every game.
Keep also in mind Napoli will lose 2 -3 players next month for the Copa D' Africa.
So only Inter can lose the scudetto.

Serie A is now more competitive, after Napoli slipped in a few games, Milan also draw with Udinese, Inter Milan is now in #1. It was surprising to me, when I underestimated the figure of S. Inzaghi at the start of the season, now able to prove that he is is a coach to be reckoned with. To be honest, I had my doubts because there was Mourinho and Allegri, but these two coaches are still in trouble. Indeed, Juventus is showing a positive trend last few games, but so far S. Inzaghi is quite successful in providing a good strategy for Inter.

One thing in my mind, Will Milan experience the same results as last season?

Serial A is very competitive now and has drawn the attention of sports lovers to Italy.
Just a one game pushed first to forth and changed many things. This is a clear indication that the chances is opened to many clubs to win the title except Juventus.
Juventus is about 8points lesser than Napoli at the 4th position.
Again, Atlanta should not be under rated because apart from Inter, Atlanta is the second in goals which is also crucial to decide a competitive league.

As we are nearly the halfway, things are becoming clearer in the Serie A standings. We can see how much great form Inter have right now and they owe their leadership to that now. They waited patiently for the teams at the top to make mistakes and they got what they wanted so far. Milan and Napoli started showing a poor performance lately and we are seeing them behind Inter now.

What aperformance from inter today cagliari team had no chance 15 shots on goal and 75% possesion for inter and now they took over the first position they are the strongest team right now if they continue like this they will win the serie A again, but i have to mention atalanta team also with the recent victories six in a row they are 3 points away from inter.

We had defending champion on their seat back with very impressive win and Napoli and AC Milan now both losing points very frequently which is very poor from them but still it's a wide open competition now we have 4 teams for this year's title and two having good form with quality players in next round now we have AC Milan vs Napoli which mean one team is going to lose some more points, and It's going to strengthen the Inter cause for successfully defending their title.

It's now wide open 7 teams having very interesting competition for staying in top four with Napoli now can go out from this with Roma, Lazio and Juventus are in hunting all other three teams are doing much better than Napoli for staying at top.

We have left a really interesting game weekend behind and the 1st place in the league table has changed hands. It was a really bad weekend for not only Milan but also Napoli. I guess that Inter used up all of their chances in this round of the league.    We witnessed Milan to almost lose to Udinese if it weren't for Zlatan's life saving goal. And we saw that Napoli got an unbelievable defeat home vs Empoli by 1-0. And Inter benefited from this opportunity superbly by demolishing Cagliari by 4-0. And they have taken the lead in the league table consequently. The league is getting even more exciting every week.

I think the Italian Serie A is now the most interesting championship from the point of view of who can become a champion. After all now 4 teams are fighting for the championship at once and in the spring there may be more teams, Juventus can still catch up with everyone if they win consistently.

The only game left seems to be Roma vs Spezia for the recent week now. Roma have a two-game losing streak in the Serie A now and they would really like to destroy Spezia here in Stadio Olimpico. Spezia are one of the worst teams in the league now as we see them in the relegation zone. And they got three losses and one draw in their last four league games. In this case, I'm taking Roma's victory here for granted. And it'd help them gather themselves up too.

After the Premier League, Serie A is one of the best domestic leagues so far compared to other European leagues. Previously there was Laliga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 but I think now the rankings have dropped after some of the star players left the club. Competition between Serie A teams is very tight, especially in the top 4 so far, AC Milan, Inter, Napoli and Atalanta are performing well so the competition is getting tougher to become champions at the end of the season.

So far Inter managed to lead the standings by shifting AC Milan at the top after some less impressive match. The difference in points between the teams is also not too big so the competition is expected to get better until the end of the season.

Roma's performance this season is not so good. looks inconsistent in every game. even though if you look at the material of the players, actually Roma is not a weak team.
If the final solution is the problem, I agree with you. because in every game, Rome can design an opportunity. but unfortunately, the poor finishing created problems that cost Roma themselves.

Beside Inter's great performance in the recent times, I would like to indicate Atalanta's gigantic form recently too. They had a really tough away match against Verona one day ago. They already had a five-match winning streak before this one and they were very focused. But we know Verona as one of the middle teams that can upset the top teams in Serie A. They really tried it here also as they got ahead first. But Atalanta were aiming to win this match very much that they made a nice comeback. And they became successful about beating them by 2-1. Currently, they have left Napoli behind and got the 3rd position. And Milan are feeling their breath upon them.

I don't doubt Roma can win tonight either, but the bookmakers are not giving such a big odds on that than on both teams exchanging goals... I think Spezia are more motivated in this match, so they will try their best to score goals to climb up the standings, because they are dangerously close to the relegation zone!

What a entertaining and easy match for Inter to win with 4:0 against Cagliari. Though Inter just scored a goal in the 1st half, 3 more followed in the 2nd half. Lovely goals and none missed the target. And here need to really appreciate Cagliari goal keeper. Almost 3 to 4 saves. If he might have missed them, Inter would have scored almost 7 goals in a row in the 2nd half. A good play.
