What a great performance by Napoli last night! Honestly, I wasn't in an expectation like they would win the game vs Lazio easily. Moreover, I was expecting Lazio to make them big difficulties after the shocking loss vs Juventus in their home game. But Napoli just finished Lazio in the first half already by bringing the score to 3-0. After this, Lazio completely gave up on the game and Napoli won by 4-0. Lazio didn't have even single shot in the second half. It was a terrible night for them and they will definitely want to forget about it as quick as possible.

A surprisingly easy victory was achieved by Napoli's players yesterday. I was convinced that Lazio would be a tougher rival for them. Dries Mertens, who brilliantly replaced the injured Osimhen, proved once again that Napoli can count on him whenever he is needed. Let me remind you that this often underestimated player is the best scorer in the history of the club, in wich played forwards such as Diego Maradona or Edinson Cavani.

I expected a though game you see, keeping a clean sheet showed how ready the home team was.

A very disappointing result. It was Milan's home match. Moreover Sassuolo is not a strong team. Even if it was an away match, this match should have been won by Milan. Milan lost at home, and conceded 3 goals. If they want to win the title, they have to play carefully in all the matches. Points cannot be lost against a weaker team.

I really regret the defeat of AC Milan in that game where they should have won 3 points. Sassuolo surprisingly managed to match AC Milan's game where their 3 goals made AC Milan suffer two consecutive defeats. Yes Napoli has again added up another win to their table record and keeping its top position unshaken. The goals were awesome from the beginning. Those who scored goals, were on point. P Zielinski was awesome and so watchful and when he got the pass he exactly made it. This shows how well he practiced and focused on his performance followed by D Mertens and Fabian Ruiz's shots. And we really need to appriciate Napoli's goal keeper who really saved a goal with his full effort jumping to his up-left and blocking it. Was awesome play.

Maybe not, Milan will bounce back after these 2 defeats and it is a must for them. Last season Milan also suffered the same fate and ultimately failed to win the title. If this season they lose concentration just because of these 2 defeats then they need to add some new players in the next transfer market.

The red card was also one of the reasons Milan appeared less than satisfactory in that match. I'm sure if one of those players wasn't sent off then Milan could still score even though those 3 goals were before the red card. So since it's still not the middle of the season, Milan need to improve a few more players who can help them score goals. Ibra is good, but he is too old to count on every match.

mertens is a top tier goal scorer that isn't getting the recognition he deserves mainly because he isn't playing for one of the biggest teams in Europe. While Napoli isn't a mid-bottom place team in the seria A, they're always considered low in the perking order behind Juve, Inter and Milan and most recently, Atalanta. If he were to be in a bigger club, his name would be on everybody's lips.

Milan should not worry about the gap from Napoli, but about the recent results that led to this gap. Still, a draw and two defeats in the last three matches of the championship are not the results that should inspire confidence in the final positive outcome of the championship race. In any case, it is not critical yet and it is probably better to lose tournament points now than at the end of the championship, but still these losses can play a role in the battle for the title at the end of the season. it would be a disaster if they won't score tomorrow against Salernitana which are at the bottom of the league with the 2nd worse defense conceiding 29 goals in 14 matches, they haveto win that match and not just score, they need the three points to keep close to CL qualifying spot, Europa League is nothing for a team as big as Juventus, the odds for Juve are at 1.36, which is pretty low, i won't bet on Juventus unless Salernitana somehow will score the first goal, the odds for Juve to win would be much better.

With this result, Napoli's dominance to win the title this season becomes even stronger, considering that Napoli have so far conceded only 7 goals from 14 matches they have played. It was a very good record for Napoli, at the same time Milan were unlucky to lose against Sassuolo which made their distance slightly stretched, but in the next match Napoli also had to play against Sassuolo. I personally don't believe Sassuolo will be able to make another surprise against a top team, I think we have the same opinion that Napoli will certainly easily win against Sassuolo tomorrow.
