Atalanta wasted a big chance last night. They had the game under control completely.  But somehow, Genoa managed to get one point by a 0-0 result. Clumsiness caused Atalanta to lose points again. After having a great period of time in the Serie A, they have started struggling for two weeks. I still believe in them to recover soon. This happens for every team at some point in the end.

Atalanta have struggled in the last few weeks and of course a draw against genoa added to their suffering to be complete, although they are still very safe in the top 4, but that doesn't mean they won't be overtaken by Juventus at standing, I see that currently atlanta are having a hard time finding consistency their good performances in the middle of this season, even though if we look at this in December, the Italian league matches do not have a schedule as tight as the clubs in the English league, but for some reason every season the Italian team always experiences a decline in their performance towards the second round of the league.

Atalanta have struggled in the last few weeks and of course a draw against genoa added to their suffering to be complete, although they are still very safe in the top 4, but that doesn't mean they won't be overtaken by Juventus at standing, I see that currently atlanta are having a hard time finding consistency their good performances in the middle of this season

In Serie A, we saw how fast Napoli lost their form and drops on the table from the first position. Now, it is time for Atalanta but previously we saw a similar fall of AS Roma. Now AS Roma and Juventus are challenging Atalanta for a position in top 4. It is very exciting for Serie A because just a few weeks ago, Atalanta even still had chance to join Scudetto competition.

Atlanta this time really experienced a decline in performance where they failed to beat the host Genoa and were forced to only draw with the score 0-0 and their position continues to be pursued by Juventus

It seems defeat in Champions League hurts Atalanta a lot. They can not recover well after that and lost against Roma in their home stadium.

Atalanta are a good team so they will come back later but in next few matches, we might see they struggle to get points and it will be good opportunities for Juventus and Roma to climb up and surpass Atalanta on the table. The upcoming holidays will be important for Atalanta. They need such breaks to get their good mood and good form back.

To be honest, I doubted Juventus would win, but I didn't expect Atalanta to be unable to beat Genoa! I wonder how the favourites will play tonight? I think there could also be surprises, for example Lazio might not win against Venice... Or Milan might lose away to Empoli...

Week 19 will bring together Juventus versus Napoli, who will manage to get 3 points?? If according to my own predictions I will bet on Juventus, although Napoli's performance is now very consistent because in Week 18 yesterday Napoli managed to beat AC Milan with a score of 1-0, but I am still optimistic that Juventus will be able to get 3 points, when dealing with Napoli in the weekend. 19th..

Dont be so optimistic, Juventus indeed shown nice result in their last several match but in term of how they play as a team, Napoli is still a little bit better especially in attacking.
I think the best option to bet on this match is BTTS or over/under 2.5goals.
Placing a bet on which one to win is risky in this kind of match, there were some suprise results in Serie A recently including the draw of Atalanta against Genoa.

It was a big disappointment for Atalanta. Even though they deserved to win the match by a great performance, they missed the chance to defeat Genoa. This is their second bad result in a row. There is a worrying problem on their finishing for two weeks. They should find a way out of this problematic situation. They were much better normally as they had a great winning streak. But they can leave these days behind soon I think.

Yesterday's result, on the one hand, is illogical (a favorite against an obvious outsider), on the other hand, such results are inevitable for Atalanta - if it did not lose points in some matches with outsiders, then now it would be on a par (and maybe ahead) with Inter. But to expect that Atalanta could win the Scudetto would probably be too optimistic.

Well, the vaccination is a sure way to protect not just one's self but one's neighbour too. The problem with vaccination started and was promoted by the ill news or toll it had on a few persons during the introductory phase of the produced vaccines. That's one thing that have scared people from vaccination. Making vaccination mandatory isn't going to make people take them, humans ate naturally stubborn and you can't blame them. Should vaccines work at its optimum, a lot of individuals would take it without question.

Meanwhile,  the game between Venezia 1-1 Lazio has been a difficult one after the early 3 minutes goal. Both teams have strengthened there defense line that, ball hardly crosses. Making any shot that goes through count.

It was a lucky day for Genoa as Atlanta had series of wasted attempts more credit should be given to Genoa goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu who secured a point for Genoa as all attempts to breakthrough the keeper went void. Genoa can save the point they got from Atlanta it could save them in future games if they can possibly improve

Roma can win tonight, they are playing good and indeed their last win was amazing! But I also think that Sampdoria can score in this game, they are playing open football, and in all their games they score, I think there's a huge chance for tonight for more goals, over 2.5 and both teams to score is my bet!

I think Napoli and Milan will have good games as well! They need to win if they wish to get closer to Inter... I guess Napoli at home has an advantage and I expect an easy win, but when it comes to Milan (who surprised many times this season) I am not sure can they take down Empoli... I really don't have luck with Milan, as I said, so I am not sure should I play them or simply to skip that game totally!

AC Milan must win if they do not want to be left behind from Inter too far. Milan should be able to take advantage of the draw obtained by Atalanta. Because from these results, Atalanta failed to shift AC Milan's position today. Juventus is getting closer, this will be a threat for Milan, if in this match against Empoli they don't get 3 points.

dunno what happened to atalanta in their last few games.
they seem to be losing momentum at the moment and their form has continued to decline in recent games.
whereas if you look at them they are actually very seeded in the last few games but they always lose momentum.
and this series with genoa is the umpteenth time they have dropped in terms of performance.
I hope they bounce back and can overcome something like this in the next game.

although Bologna still lost possession, they got 2 goals in the first half. it's a very good achievement to break the trust of Sassuolo.
with 61% possession, all of them just stay in the middle of the field. not many made it into the Bologna defense. especially with the current number of 10 shots made by Sassuolo. only 3 are on target.
Sassuolo has problems upfront and finishing. but in this match, Bologna also has a good defense. it makes Sassuolo attacks always fail.

But, it seems this match is a winning match for Bologna.  Am quite surprised, because Sassuolo's performance in their last matches was a bit impressive. They drew their last game, and were able to beat Lazio. However, Bologna will be having additional 3 points, which will enable them to slide to the 10th position on the standings.

This is common in a match even though dominating still can't score or win I saw  Sassuolo players frustrated can't do much when entering the Bologna defense
It's a shame with statistics like that Sassuolo can't score even though it deserves to score 2 goals. In another match Lazio finally won but did not change the position in the standings.

Crazy! And unexpected! But Bologna did steal the show and could have scored even more during the 2nd half.

We've got 3 more fixtures currently underway, I'm tuned into Roma vs Sampdoria, it's been a really square game, with Roma being the slight the better team over the 25 played minutes.

I feel they are currently too busy pressing the opponent to forget their defense area which is not well guarded.
different to the previous game when they were against top teams, they were focused on their defensive area but now they appear attacking by trying to take possession of the ball but it turns out to be a blunder so they can't anticipate the counter-attack
