Salernitana who this season has had some issues regarding double possession being banned, and his poor position in the relegation zone. But who would have thought, Salernitana will really survive in Serie A next season with an unbeaten result in its last four matches, Salernitana will certainly be able to get out of the relegation zone. Salernitana success in getting points in their last few matches has indeed opened their chance to get out of the relegation zone at this time, moreover Salernitana have 3 games remaining that they might be able to win, besides the distance between Salernitana and Cagliari is only a difference of 2 points which is in the relegation safe zone at the moment, moreover Salernitana has one game more than current cagliari, I also think if compared to Salernitana maybe cagliari is a strong candidate to be relegated next season with genoa and venezia.

Atalanta has a game in hand and today I am sure that they will win it as the match against Salernitana. Therefore, the actual lag is only one point. The situation is pretty shaky but in fact I hope that Roma win the Conference League and get a ticket to the Europa League no matter where they are in Serie A by the end of the championship.

Atalanta could end up winning because they are a great team and playing a team that will relegate, but at the same time that's not enough to pass Roma, would be enough for Fiorentina but that's about it. I personally believe that they will be able to fight against Roma and try to win, it shouldn't really be that difficult or impossible.

I know that it looks to be a bit of a different breed situation right now, but Roma has a cultural success that should be laying heavy on that fifth position and not giving up, they like conference league obviously and they will be doing fine there. Best Atalanta can do right now is Fiorentina, and then maybe consider clash with Roma next game.

Hmm...another unexpected result and the depth of Atalanta's fall becomes just terrible - I remember how they were in the leader group and their ticket to the Champions League looked guaranteed, but now they do not get into the euro cups at all. I honestly believed that Roma would win, I mean Atalanta looked to be better team against such a low and even relegated team, so that must have been a win for sure and they ended up getting a draw with a horrible team in a great position for themselves and missed out.

But for some reason, I believed Roma to have even a better chance, no idea why but I believed they were in a great form to win. After failing to get a win for 2 games, this supposed to be a game where they dominate, at least in my mind. This is why I am shocked to see them failing to get a win. This makes that 5-6-7 and even 8th spot so much entertaining for the rest of the season.

I mean that they are under the threat of not being able to qualify for any tournament in Europe like even the Conference League. The three weeks remaining are going to be really fierce between Fiorentina and Atalanta as it seems. And the winner of this rivalry would be Fiorentina I guess. It is just a sense otherwise they both are terrible these days.

I may be wrong, is perhaps only a moment, but there are important players missing that are hurt, and Atalanta have no replacements when this happens.  The coach can only do so much, I hope the next season this will be considered, we need a longer bench, when you play in Europe and Serie A, players get tired. This is clearly not good enough in my opinion because they should have won full points in this match so they can compete at least to fight for the top 6 position there

Mourinho joined Roma with a long term plan and so far, he has done so good things for the club. With solid support from the  club from President to fans and players, Mourinho will sign with some necessary players who will help him to improve Roma more significantly.

It's just unthinkable that Atalanta are finally out of the top four and even though Atalanta still have a chance to finish for the Europa League place, but at this moment I'm a little bit doubtful. Because the current rankings of one to six, are purely filled by big and historic teams in Serie A so I assume this is normal. But indeed, if you consider Atalanta's performance in the last few seasons, Atalanta is still worthy to compete for the European ticket next season.

Atalanta have achieved good things last three seasons and they have to rebuild their team to get their position in top four back. However, it will be not easy because AS Roma are coming back with Mourinho. Lazio and Fiorentina or Sassuolo might fight with Atalanta too.

I don't consider this failure in this season is the end for Atalanta. Their quality is not too different than Juventus, Napoli, AS Roma but if they can not prevent player out wave in summer, they will fall into a bad period. That will take them a few years to come back.

Milan's 3 remaining fixtures are tougher than those of Inter. And Inter has a more quality squad in my opinion. If they manage to win against Empoli in their next fixture, I think they will turn it around because I see Milan dropping some points. Empoli is a bastard of a team and they have made life difficult for Juventus and Napoli. They play best against the strongest opponents.

I am looking forward to the Derby d'Italia cup final between Juve and Inter in about one week.
