Consistency is key of course, but they had a very confusing season with how the team was setup. They had Ronaldo at the start of the season, and I know they played many games without him, but if they knew that Ronaldo would leave on June, they would have replaced him with another player, they didn't and it rushed their hands to get better. This is why I believe that they are going to be getting players that would stay for a longer term this time around.

This will in return result with them getting a good team for the season. Inconsistent results came from the fact that the team wasn't set and ready for such a transfer, now they would be a lot more ready and the squad will be decided beforehand.
