I'm excited as Seria A teams are actively in the transfer market with English Premier clubs. The Seria A teams are not holding back as they are landing massive deals with players in the transfer window. The top teams leading in Italy for signing of players are Inter Milan, Juventus and AC Milan. There will result to high competition for the scudetto next season due to some new players coming in. As they say, new players, new challenges and new chapter. We hope to enjoy a better season ahead.
I don't see with Serie A team are really active on window transfer until right now, just have Juventus as Serie team have been getting Paul Pogba from Manchester United as free transfer player. Inter and Milan keep calm down qithout any activities on window transfer and waiting who will be first recruit on window transfer. Need to get new player exactly for Milan, Inter and Juventus because they have Champion League match and Serie A team most weakness on this competition.

Are there still rumours about Ronaldo like he will be transferred by Roma? It doesn't seem realistic to me now and I don't even expect Ronaldo to leave Manchester United this summer. They are entering a new period with Erik ten Hag and Ronaldo should give one last chance to the team. Even if Ronaldo decides to leave for a reason, I think that team would be a different team than Roma. He might not fit in the team there I assume. Juventus were a really good choice for him as he performed solid but I don't think Roma would be like that too.

AC Milan have already met AS Roma to talking about Alessandro Florenzi that Milan want to permanently his status because last season his performance was impress Milan Manager Stefano Pioli and Maldini as football director of Milan said the negotiation still on progress and will finish soon and he also confident Roma will release this player because Milan has raised their bid and after several times loaned on different teams such as Valencia and PSG finally he is in the top performance in Milan so for next season he wouldn't worried again about his future because he will remain at San Siro
Well he is one of the defenders who is quite experienced and at least it won't cost Milan huge money to redeem this player.
On the other hand, Alessandro Florenzi has also started to gain chemistry and his appearance is back at Milan, so it would be a shame if the opportunity to make him permanent was lost.

I think the only team who need upgrades is Juventus first and foremost and then Milan,Inter got Lukaku so far back and I think they have the best players compared to all other teams in Serie A.Most probably they should be doing well even in the Champions League which they have been not doing well from that 2010 time when they won it under Mourinho.Milan has also good players like Theo if you remember the goal he scored against Atalanta which he got the ball from his own goalkeeper and started from there, dribbled almost all the players of Atalanta and scored that wonderful goal.I think the title again will be decided between these three teams,Napoli and Roma have not shown a great consistency.

Ronaldo to Roma?  Cheesy that's fake for sure. Ronaldo has no plans to leave but it's just that his concerns over how United are handling things in transfers is what making him having some second thoughts. I don't think he will go back to Serie A to Roma at all.

I wonder where did you get that from.

The transfer of Roma is not very realistic in my opinion. Because Roma's goal in the league and champions league may not satisfy Ronaldo. But Ronaldo has a very successful manager. Jorge Mendes can transfer him anywhere. Maybe he can even get him back to Real Madrid. Cheesy Erik Ten Hag needs to work hard to persuade Ronaldo. He is the most important star name of the team. Ronaldo is a great star that nobody can give up.

Inter couldn't win the title two times in a row and it could be the same for Milan too. But for now it is really hard to predict. Juventus have started to improve themselves and they are getting close to signing Paul Pogba too. Maybe they can join the title race next season after a two-year break. Inter are getting stronger too now as they seem close to signing Lukaku again. Milan will need to answer these teams with the needed transfers to be competitive for the title again.
Inter and Juventus will not get a guaranteed title even though both teams are both strengthening their teams with a number of new players in this transfer market. Lukaku hasn't been convincing enough at Chelsea and neither has Pogba. Although Milan looks like an ordinary team compared to Inter and Juventus, but I think they are much better in terms of team performance.

Milan have convinced me in the last two to three seasons, and I think they can still be favorites for title candidates in the new season. I'd like to see how they start the season after they managed to seal the title last season, it's definitely going to be very interesting to look forward to.

I can't even believe ronaldo would join roma and leave manchester united, even if mourinho was there. I see only one possibility that will make Ronaldo play there, increase his salary 2x or even 3x higher than what Manchester United to CR7 is offering and I don't think Roma will do that. Even if leaving manchester united, roma is not the right choice for ronaldo because it will reduce the quality level of playing ronaldo

In fact I'm quite skeptical of Ronaldo to actually move.
Indeed, in this case the speculation circulating is that Ronaldo is not happy with Manchester United at this time but indeed when he says he is not happy does not mean he has to leave actually.
As for Roma, this is clearly not an option either because there are many reports saying that one of the reasons is that he can't play in the Champions League and when he moves to Roma, it's the same as he will still be in the same condition as Manchester United because Roma will not be the same. there. So the chance is quite small.

There are still rumours about Ronaldo that he would join Roma in the summer. Jose Mourinho is his old manager and maybe he would be eager to play under his management again. But I don't know how much Ronaldo would be interested in signing for Roma now. I still think that the possibility of staying at Manchester United is overhelming this rumour. Manchester United have a bigger potential than Roma actually as they have more qualified players in general. Maybe Ronaldo would want to stay for one more year rather than joining Roma now.
I don't think that Roma has money to recruit Ronaldo, it wouldn't be absolutely an easy operation. Ronaldo engagement is really high for Roma, so I think that he

will end his career in Man Utd, there are only few team that can afford him. (imagine if PSG will brought him to its team, Messi and Ronaldo will play together  Grin)
Even with conference cup, they do not have that kind of cash to pay his salary. Would it be making it back with jersey sales? Probably, I mean united made 5x more than his salary when he joined but I doubt Roma would have that kind of cash, which means that he would at least break even. But in order to do that, they would need to both transfer him which means paying United, but also pay his salary.

Both of which would be hard deals and I would guess that it can' be an easy job to get him. Plus, I really doubt that he would want to join, just because Mourinho is there, he would need a lot better reasoning than that, United at least could become a UCL level team this year.

I have the idea that the level of the Italian teams has secretly gone down a bit if you compare it with other European top competitions. You used to have AC Milan and Juventus who always had a chance to go far in the Champions League. AC Milan will now go to the Champions League, but the group stage will presumably be the final station. Juventus has something to do to restore its reputation. Last year they lost so many points before the winter break that they did not even have a 1% chance of becoming champions anymore. in theory maybe, but AC Milan and Inter were a long way off for the winter. However, a logical explanation for Juventus' failure has not yet been identified.
Serie A dropped a lot many years ago, La Liga dropped lately and EPL became the most attractive one by far due to the quality of teams, players and the games themselves.
Getting back Serie A to what it used to be will will require a lot of investment and dedication. They have to build or find a new generation of players with top qualities that will make the Italian teams competitive.. trying to catch top experienced players will be hard due to the lack of funding and the competition from the other rich teams.

Serie A Is not generating a lot of buzzes right now. We have seen a lot of legends and also some great players come out of the Italian league. Even a few years earlier or at least before the coronavirus situation I think the Italian league was doing well.

I think at least better compared to what they are doing right now. It is obviously going to take time for this league to come alive again. And I always think that the only way by which a league can actually come alive is to have great players in the league and that is obviously going to make the fans head that way. we all know how the PSG fan following on their Facebook page increased after Messi decided to go to PSG.

Milan have work to do in the summer transfer window. They don't only need a striker. They need a good midfielder too because Franck Kessie is leaving the team in a few days. Milan should focus on increasing their squad quality to prevent themselves from having a poorer season. It is very important for the Champions League too as they had a very poor run in the previous season of the tournament. They couldn't even reach the next stage and the supporters will have bigger expectations this time.

yes but in theory it is working
I'm just not understanding what the hell they are up to
there is a lot of confusion about it, I don't know if they do it deliberately

in any case my outlook for next year is negative at most, I don't think they will win the title again

AC Milan had a good season and were rewarded as Seria A winners last season for the performance. It now looks unlikely for them  winning it for the second time in a role as other rivals are active in the market this summer strengthening their sides for the next season. Inter Milan are close to bringing back Lukaku who was indeed a threat to other sides before leaving for chelsea, if they are able to get the deal through they attack will have more fire power also Juventus are bringing in reinforcements too so it will be a tough one for AC Milan next season.

Serie A teams are very frugal. They don’t spend much money. And that's why we don't see any Serie A team dominating the Champions League. Juventus did not perform well last season. They need some talented players if they want to do well next season. Juventus have only picked Pogba, but Pogba's performance in the last few seasons has not been satisfactory. AC Milan and Inter Milan, on the other hand, have not taken the necessary steps to strengthen.

Yeah you are right. In the past we use to see more Italian clubs competing in European competitions but we see less this time because of the drop in their performance. We see in other leagues like the EPL and La liga, teams investing so much money in their teams bringing in world class players, good managers and that has been boosting their performances and they are winning trophies and advances above knockout stages of the UCL. I think the Italian teams should emulate and do the same.

I really don’t think that Cristiano Ronaldo has any plans of moving to Roma. If he clearly has to move I think he has better options instead of Roma. He can move to better teams that are playing in the champions league competition. So, I think this is just a baseless rumor.

I actually believe that Manchester United doesn’t have the option to give up Ronaldo because he is the only player who performed really consistently in the last season from Manchester United. All the other players are either inconsistent or not performing well at all. Ronaldo has taken Manchester United out of the situation of a certain loss many times. So, Manchester United does not have the option to let Ronaldo go.

I would say the "legend status" is a little bit overused at Anfield Smiley But it is because Klopp has a pretty strong character and he doesn't talk bad about any player when they leave. He even fiercely protected Karius back at the time when he failed twice big time in the CL final against Madrid.

I think that is a good way to behave. Soccer is business after all and everyone involved should know that.

Think about the new contract of Mbappe in Paris: everyone was screaming at him because he didn't go to Real Madrid. But let's be real, if someone puts a case with 300 million just as a signing fee in front of your eyes, what would you do?

So Origi is indeed an interesting player as he has good statistics in terms time played : scorer points ratio. He can definitely be a good addition to any team. Coming to another club with a "legend status" can't hurt Wink
Seriously, Origi is definitely not a "legend" in Liverpool at all, he was not even like used as a starter most of the time, he was only there for replacing players that needed resting, and even during a brief period when he was really good, that wasn't really a legend deal at all. In the end, there is just one name I can think of that became a real legend and will stay a legend unless something marginal happens and that is Salah.

Even after Mane left, Salah is still there and if he stays there for a few more years, then he will become a club legend for sure. It's going to be probably a hard thing to become a club legend if you are a player of Klopp, because he likes to get players for rotation and change the line up constantly.
I don't think being a club legend necessarily means you have play the whole of your career in the team or play every game or stay for too long, although staying for a very long time sometimes guarantees your chances of becoming a club legend but i think your contribution and impact in the  team increases the chances of being a club legend, and you achievements for the club also. Even if Sadio Mane leaves he can still be rewarded for his hard work as a club legend.

Honestly, I don’t think that is going to be a good decision taken by Liverpool. They really should keep Mohamed Salah.

Because I don’t think Mohamed Salah can be replaced by just any player. It will need a player who knows both the English Premier League and also Liverpool very well. and also can play in the same position as Mohamed Salah and also play very well. That is going to be really hard to find for Liverpool.

Yes, that's right, Serie A teams have not spent a lot of money in the transfer season in recent seasons. Perhaps the factor behind all this may be that the finances of Serie A clubs are not very healthy. It's possible that the AC Milan that we saw have to economize a lot last season with very little spending in the transfer window, even AC Milan had to change its owner from before, namely Elliott Management, had to take the option to release its shares to RedBird for 1.2 billion euros this season. Maldini as the director of player recruitment at AC Milan has difficulty stepping in this transfer window because of the financial problems they are experiencing.

I really don’t think that Cristiano Ronaldo has any plans of moving to Roma. If he clearly has to move I think he has better options instead of Roma. He can move to better teams that are playing in the champions league competition. So, I think this is just a baseless rumor.

Even for Bayern, his salary requirements are high, so Salihamidzic denied the possibility of Ronaldo moving to Bayern. It's clear that the possibilities of Roma are even less. So yes, it was nothing more than a rumor.

It's funny how the situation has reversed - at first everyone was afraid that United would get rid of Ronaldo, but now Ronaldo is close to leaving the club (according to rumors) and United are trying to keep him. The problem is that Ronaldo has big ambitions, while United, despite big plans, is still pursuing a weak transfer policy and it is not clear how the club will be strengthened.

I really don’t know if Mohammed Salah is going to be a Liverpool legend or not because I heard that Liverpool is thinking about selling Mohamed Salah.

He's even now in the ranks of the legends to some including me.
Regardless of whether he is sold or not, this does not actually hinder his status in some circles because to become a legend at a club he does not need to be there until the end and retire there, especially in this case Salah's future is still unclear whether he will indeed extend his contract or not. .
Even if he doesn't renew his contract there he will still be a legend of Liverpool.
