Correct, the chances of qualifying for the Champions League are very small for Milan. Although they won in their remaining three matches, but they still depend on Lazio matches.
To be honest I'm worried about Milan, after failure in the champions league, they might be even more dispirited in the remaining three matches of this season. Although Sampdoria is also in a bad trend, but Milan failure in the UCL might have an impact on Milan performance again, hope not. That's not going to be easy, there are 3 more games left and 4 point difference between them and their UCL dream of next season. That's not impossible, 9 vs 4 points, so it could still potentially happen but we need 2 things for that to happen and I do not see those two things happening all at the same time at all.

First of all, Milan needs to win all three games, which is doable and I doubt even that would happen but lets assume for a second that it will happen. Second one is harder, which is Lazio losing 4 points out of 9 points, so that would require them to lose 2 out of 3, or at least have 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss, which would be 4 points so they would lose 5 points. I do not think that will happen, Lazio will get at least 2 wins out of the last 3 games.

Ac milan has been inconsistent this season in Serie A, you can see that they wasted the opportunity to get full points in matches that were relatively easy for them, but they were unable to maximize this opportunity to gain full points. As such I don't see a good chance for them to make it to the top 4 as the rest of the matches will hold them back heading for an impressive rally.

The chances of AC Milan qualifying for UEFA Champions League football next season is very slim considering their point difference with the other two teams they're teams they're battling out with and also how impressive their rivals are as well.
Lazio who are their closest rivals are four points ahead and would do anything possible to make sure they finish the season in the top four while Inter Milan who eliminated them from the UEFA Champions League are also trying to finish the season in the top four as well because the possibility Inter of winning the Champions League is slim.

The situation for Inter Milan in Serie A I don't think it will be difficult to close the season in the top 4. Inter has a point width with the 5th ranked team with a distance of 5 points so it will be quite safe for them in the next 3 matches. Obviously ac milan will reap difficulties and they only depend on the luck of lazio matches because if lazio loses ac milan's chances are even better to reach the top 4. We all really regret seeing Napoli eliminated from the Champions League. Because Napoli's 2 best strikers had to miss the first leg of the quarter-finals against Ac Milan. and I still feel that Napoli's defeat in the quarter-finals still leaves me feeling dissatisfied. A seemingly impossible expectation as those are two events that could go 3 ways for each team (win, draw, lose). Now, hoping that AC Milan might win and Lazio gets to lose instead of win as well would be hard to come by, with josh teams vying for an important slot.
AC Milan had there chance of beating Inter Milan to the champions League finals but they didn't, they just couldn't manage it and without Raphael Leao on the team, the team is finding it difficult to archive anything moving forward.
