Before this game between Roma and Napoli I would have thought that Napoli is the team that has the chance to get better and finish in the top four, but now I have to revoke my idea and say no. This game could be pivotal for what is to come next for Napoli. They lost both strikers Osimhen and Politano due to both receiving red cards. This doesn't make their situation any better and I guess Politano will be missing a couple of games whereas for Osimhen it is perhaps only one game. But Osimhen is also going to the Africa Cup, which means that Napoli is out of strikers when the season restarts. All these conditions make me believe that Napoli lost more than just one game against Roma.

The problem started with the first red card in the 66 minute when Matteo Politano had to leave the match then 10 minutes after the incident Pellegrini scored the first goal for Roma, the situation got worse after the next 10 minutes. Osimhen had to leave the match because of the 2nd yellow card then 10 minutes later Lukaku scored the 2nd goal for ROma and ended the match, we can call it a 10 minute disaster because all incidents and moments occur within a period of every 10 minutes Napoli dropped to 10th position while Roma, Fiorentina and Bologna are above them. We know that Bologna's main mission is to get Champions League ticket but it's not easy because I'm sure in the near future Roma or Fiorentina will be there to take over, I'm not sure Bologna can be consistent and Bologna can only be relied on when playing at home. By the way, Inter Milan and Juventus managed to secure 3 points today these two teams continued the race with a difference of 4 points.

Juventus won the match 2-1 it was very easy for them so I thought they would win the match by more goals but they only won the match by 1 goal Juventus. Now they are just one point behind Inter. I guess so and the importance is very high for both of the teams as they want to stay in reach of the valuable ranks that give them the qualification to the Europa League and maybe the Champions League. It would still be highly possible for Napoli to fight their way up, but a loss would yet again be another relapse for them.

I believe that from next season if they continue in this performance, a lot of their players will go for bugger clubs so that they can win trophies.

I am not surprised towards their inconsistency in matches because they came from nowhere last season and won the league, this is how they might disappear from the top strong clubs as time goes, if the needful is not done. I already know that it will be a different club that will win this season, because Seria A is not a league that can be won back-to-back currently, as every club wants to make sure that they pull down whoever won it last. The competition is this league is strong and mean.

I think that the result is more than enough to be used as the reliable data to say if roma is far stronger than napoli. You shall not be denial caused by calling roma's won was lucky enough due to the red card. Win is win, three points are three points.

It was a very competitive game until half time which is why the Roma team should never be called strong considering this match. The match changed quickly and first it looks to be unfair decisions from the referee against AS Roma with an unreasonable yellow card for Cristante but then in the second half, two stupid fouls of Osimhen and a red card for him caused lot of troubles for Napoli.

Mourinho made some good substitutions in the second half and one of those players, Pellegrini scored an opening goal for Roma. In very last minutes, Lukaku finalized the match for Roma and helped his team to continue a closely race with Bologna that made another surprise by beating Atalanta.

I wouldn't say Napoli were dominant before the red card but they were slightly better. Roma played how they always play, sit back a little and look for an opportunity to pounce. That opportunity didn't come in the first half, but it came in the second.

To be honest, if I had placed any bet on that game it would have been in Napoli to win. I avoided the game because both teams are teams that struggle and Roma was good at winning games like this but I wasn't sure of them because of their recent form.

The game was thrilling to watch and I love how Roma was able to grab the control of the game and won it in their favour. Roma is a team with also good players like Napoli and they also have a good coach. I was surprised from the game AS Roma, who beat Napoli 2:0. Napoli is a different team compared to last year. Juventus team is consistently performing well in every match. However, the main  weakness of their squad is the erratic performance of the attacking players. Despite having a strong defense,  they are still fighting for the title with  Inter Milan. However  I still consider Inter Milan as the favorite for the title. Firstly they are  4 points ahead of Juventus. And secondly, the team's attack is very strong. The team is capable of scoring a lot of goals.

I agree with you. Roma's win was expected. Napoli's performance was very erratic. The new coach is still not able to adapt himself well with the players of the team. I also find it unlikely that Walter Mazzarri will improve Napoli's performance very quickly. Napoli have played 8 matches since Walter Mazzarri took over as coach. Out of this they have won only 3 matches and lost 5 matches. We didn't see a good performance from Napoli players against Roma either. They don't try to attack much. I think Napoli's goal was to draw the match. But after receiving two red cards in the second half, they could no longer resist the Roma players.
