This one never made sense to me in a way. By that I mean, if they think that he is too old to keep on sending on loans, and they want to make some cash, then why the other side would want to get him when they realize even Chelsea doesn't want him, and won't even loan him out? If he is too old to loan for Chelsea, he might be too old for Napoli to buy him right up.

I think it would make more sense if we were to consider the reality that we are talking about Lukaku being a great striker but not worth that much money. Like I said so many times, their weakest area is the midfield. They couldn't get enough score contribution from their midfielders. It is high time they made substantial changes there.
